We were stuck in town for the night due to car troubles and booked the wrong day. They wouldn’t allow us to change it so we paid again for that day. And on top of that, there were roaches in our room. My friend woke up to one crawling on him so we slept with the light on so it wouldn’t happen again. Hotel appears decent but I find it disgusting that it has roaches.

No-frills hotel delivers exactly what you’d expect. Our room had a bed. A minifridge. A TV with the basic cable channels. The roof didn’t cave in. Cockroaches didn’t carry us away in the middle of the night. It’s not the Hilton(duh), but for $ 75/night you can sleep with fluffy pillows in a comfy bed that isn’t your own. Caty D’s bed at home was giving her neck pain and most nights after entering a food-coma I usually pass out on a futon(uncomfortable). So after a substantial sushi dinner at the nearby Shinto, we needed a place to crash. Although… I’d be lying if I said there wasn’t an ulterior motive for the last-minute booking…*winky face x 10* We were allegedly given a room with a Queen-size bed, but it sure looked and felt smaller(Caty D claims it was definitely a full-size mattress, and I believe her). Apart from that, nothing was wrong with the room – aside from a minor design flaw in the location of the bathroom door’s swing with respect to the crapper. When calling to inquire about room availability, the woman on the phone gave her a tiny bit of attitude, and upon checking in, she took her sweet time in providing us a room key. It’s not that we were in a huge rush to get down to business, but a little hustle wouldn’t hurt, ya know? Quality Inns are part of the Choice Hotels chain, which includes Comfort Suites, Clarion, Econo Lodge, and some other quasi-sketchy no-tel motels, but a single night at this place wasn’t bad. Certainly not my first choice of places to stay, but in a pinch, Quality Inn makes the grade.

Checked into first room and it had dead insects on box spring. I was placed in a second room checked the mattress and found a live bed bug. I canceled my reservation and asked for a refund. The hotel had the audacity to charge my credit card because they checked the room and it had no bed bugs. Do bot stay at this hotel!

We came in later at night and could tell the front desk clerk was sleeping in the back room because I rang the buzzer twice and yelled back before he came out. Service was poor. Room was nice. AC was great and room seemed pretty clean and well kept. Seemed like it was in a somewhat shady area but it may have just seemed like that because it was at night. It was ok value for the price. Nothing overly special but I have definitely stayed at worse.
