Rush Copley OB Gyn Associates

I am a patient of Dr. Stephanie Simmons and she is beyond amazing. I’ve had an OB –GYN before her that always rushed me and was never very helpful. Not only is Dr. Simmons amazing her staff and nurses are too! Whenever I come in they are friendly and professional and always answer any questions I have. The first time seeing Dr. Simmons she sat and talked with me for about 20 minutes before examining me! That was amazing to have a doctor sit down with you and understand what symptoms you are having and how they affect your life. She and her nurses made me feel comfortable and DELIGHTED to be there!
Furthermore, whenever there is an issue I can call and a nurse will speak with me IN GREAT DETAIL as to the doctor’s instructions until my next appointment. Once I had an appointment but was cancelled (while i was there) due to Dr. Simmons becing
I’ve moved over 30 miles from her office but still travel back to Aurora to see her. I appreciate all her dedication to me!

After several very negative experiences with this practice, I feel confident advising others to stay away. Overall I found the reception staff to be disorganized and rude. The doctors seem to be over loaded and can never seem to get out of the room fast enough despite the fact your questions are unanswered. They seem more concerned with getting in as many new patients as possible without taking any time to care for the existing patients. The only redeeming quality is the Nurses — however they seem to take on many of the doctor’s responsibilities which I never felt comfortable with. I am disgusted by the way I was treated as a patient and as a human being by Rush Copley.

I’m glad I didn’t go by the other reviewer advice on this office. I really like this office and Dr. Rochelle Wilburn! When I became pregnant I was going to go with another doctor in this practice but she wasn’t accepting new patients so I went with Dr Wilburn and she is very helpful with any question or issues and her nurse is as well. Everyone is very friendly here.

Hard to say how the actual practitioners are because I was denied the opportunity to receive care. Based on the incredibly rude and short-​tempered receptionists who were reluctant to help me when I was having a miscarriage, I’d say go elsewhere.
I made an appointment and supplied my insurance information, and received call two hours later saying my appointment had been canceled because they couldn’t get in touch with customer service at the insurance company! We verified the phone number and it was correct. No apology for the confusion, and still no offer to get me in to see a doctor right away.
In healthcare, the people who answer the phone are sometimes as important at the physicians who treat you later, especially when their incompetence means your care is delayed. There was no concern displayed for the fact that I was pregnant and bleeding — no offer to have a nurse call, no advice, zero help. My insurance policy was current, and it covered my care which I received on an emergency basis from a different, much more compassionate OB group — a group I still see three years later.
