The Aurora Colorado Staple Bar. The Aurora Irish bar that has stood(and will continue, God willing) the test of time. Good local music and I have NEVER paid a cover. What a great joint!!!

Drunk service with attitude! Really… And over charged! Don’t waste your time late night. This place reminds me of a child hood story. I think it was called«Once upon a Time»! —

This place was alright. It was a hole in the wall sports bar, mostly older grey haired crowd. The service was good and they had free popcorn! We just played a couple games of pool. We went when it was dead, afternoon time. Sure didn’t mind the empty pool tables!

Cozy place. Great service. The band playing that night was fun. Overall great place for a happy hour.

This quiet little dive attracts an older(40s) crowd who is just happy to enjoy a beer or a game of pool with a friend in peace. The parmesan salt pepper wings were great. Beer prices were reasonable. Guinness, Harp, Smithwicks, Miller, Coors, Bud, Blue Moon, Jäger on tap. Though the décor and name are Irish, the music is classic rock. It was alright for a little neighborhood watering hole but wasn’t what we were hoping for(something a little more Irish, honestly). We probably won’t be back.

A solid bar. They do have a small cooking station behind the bar which I thought was strange. This little cook top turns out some decent food. The drinks are cheap. Their is a small stage and dance floor. The bathroom walls are decorated with beautiful history. I like the place. They will also copy one of the pictures that adorn the bathroom wall of you ask. I will come back.

I really wanted to like this place when my wife and I first moved to the neighborhood. We probably came 6 – 7 times over the course of a few months. Occasionally it was an enjoyable experience, but more often than not it was a huge disappointment. I only had a Guinness here once and it tasted so bad I couldn’t finish it. The food is an absolute joke, even for bar food. The cheese dip was something out of nightmares, and it was recommended to us by the waitress. The final straw for us was the clientele. It’s a group of older locals which I typically enjoy. However the folks I’ve met here were rude, pretentious and about the least friendly people I’ve ever met. One lady went so far as to jerk a pool cue out of my wife’s hand as she returned to our table for a drink saying she was going to hurt someone swinging it around the way she was. Then while we were up playing pool a group of regulars came and kicked us off our table so they could push theirs together with ours. No word to us or anything. Just moved our drinks and took our table. Haven’t been back since. Oh and if you’d like them to photocopy a black and white playboy photo shoot from the 80s off their bathroom wall, they are happy to do that… classy

If you’re looking for a hole in the wall type of place to go in Aurora, this is it. The décor is a bit dated but it’s clean and friendly and they have something different going on almost every night. I was there one night and they had a Hee-Haw style band of a bunch of old timers that were just phenomenal. Speaking of phenomenal… if you’re not in a hurry, try their cheese burger. VERY good!

I have been to this pub many times. We think this is the place to be in and around Denver. Every time we are in town we visit this pub. The owner’s obviously take pride in the business. They keep activities going, keep prices fair and provide a friendly place to gather. The staff is friendly, the food is good, the prices are fair and the atmosphere is welcoming. I highly recommend this bar if you are in Aurora.

Used to stop in here back in the day while bar hopping or on the dart circuit. Irish strip mall bar with live music on the weekends, fair drink prices and friendly wait staff. The patio is heated the bathroom is plastered with old playboy pics and the atmosphere is old school dark and divey.

Classic Irish pub meets mountain bar with, as stated by another patron, delicious guinness, live rock and country music, and fairly price to drink size ratios. At times music gets loud but bar keeps are in good form.

I was actually pleasantly surprised at this place, having grown up in A-town close to this intersection, I have been by this place many many times. I remember going to have a beer here with my pops on my 21st birthday, but that was uh some time ago… Pop corn machine, 2 pool tables, back patio, large bar, golf theme and Ladies– In the restroom– Very Nice Eye Candy Pictures’ to look at! oh yeah!(no wonder they are nailed to the wall) Decent drink prices for what you get. My favorite part was the little door for the Leprecauns to enter in! hah! so funny.

I overall like the Sheabeen. My boyfriend and I meet our friends here for karaōke. the Sunday night Karaōke is now themed.(Country western, Goth, British Invasion, etc) If you come dressed the part you have to sing the part(well no one’ll stick a gun to your head and make ya but yknow) There is always a huge crowd and you’ll have to wait 20 people to sing, if you pla on being there awhile it wont be a problem :) The family that runs the karaōke booth is very nice, too. There was only one guy for the whole bar, the BARTENDER, and he was so attentive and on top of everyone. They have a pool table(or two?) and 5 or 6 electronic games including a deer hunting game. Pool is FREE tues and thurs nights! There is a stage with lights and everything for the karaōke singers. The only disappointment is the food. While cheap, it was also mediocre and the portions couldve been bigger. I’m done with the food here. I cant justify paying for it anymore. I will get the jalapeño poppers again, that’s probabaly it. I love food as well as the rest of Unilocal so they lose a star because of that.

For what it is, Sheabeen is hard to beat. I used to check it out a couple times a month, but since moving downtown, it has been a rarity. After a recent visit, though, it’s safe to say the place hasn’t changed much. The only notable change seemed to be the installation of an electronic bar game console on the southwest corner of the wraparound bar. Like others have noted, it’s basically a strip mall sports bar with a colorful cast of regulars! The drink selection is limited, but not necessarily lacking. For me, a pint of Budweiser compliments the place just fine. If you dig your cider like I do, they have Strongbow on tap, which isn’t all too common. The staff is generally very kind and the atmosphere quite chill. Like other bars of this nature, the biggest pluses can be found in the details. The men’s room has a wall dedicated to black and white Playboy pictures. There’s also a house band, of sorts, called The Dick Frost Band. What do you expect with a name like that, at a place like this? A bar rock cover band with an aging, but totally capable guitar player/frontman, backed by a suspect character on bass, a dude who seemingly got the gig because he could produce a keyboard, and a drum machine? Well that’s what you get. I really doubt that the lineup is static with a group like Dick Frost, but I promise you — whatever they hop on stage with, won’t be far off. They’re really a perfect match for a place like Sheabeen. I hope to return sooner than later!

Great little Irish bar. Good Guinness, great staff and good times. They have a couple of Pool tables with league play on a couple of nights of the week. They also have a stage where they have live music on occasion. A good place to blow the froth off a couple after work.
