Sun Devil Tan

After my tanning salon went out of business, I went looking for a new home. I prayed I wouldn’t have to resort to a L.A. Tan or something similar. Found this place on Unilocal and decided to give them a try. I am COMPLETELY blown away.
First of all, I’m a huge fan of minute packages and that’s what I was interested in. $ 70 for 150 minutes or $ 103 for 250 minutes on a level 1 bed. At my old salon, you could only purchase a 100 minutes for $ 60 (level 1) and the prices skyrocketed from there. 50 more minutes for $ 10? No brainer. The girl who explained the memberships, minute packages, specials, and lotions was very sweet, thorough, and not pushy. Everyone I have encountered there has been extremely friendly.
The beds/​rooms themselves are fantastic. ALWAYS clean, music and fans in the beds, tissues and face wipes (and CANDY!) for cleaning up.
They offer several different monthly memberships, minute packages that you have a year to use, (for those who don’t want to commit each month and would rather pay a full amount right then and there) 5 tans for $ 25, (which you have 10 days to use!) and $ 5 tans and $ 10 spray tans on Tuesdays. I love the different options.
Definitely give this place a visit. You will not be disappointed!

This is a very nice clean place. The beds are very strong and they have wipes to clean your face and mirrors in each room. I definitely would recommend this tanning salon.

I love this place. Wish it wasn’t such a drive to get to. I’m sure its great for anyone in the area. Go on Tuesdays, they offer $ 5 bed tans and $ 10 spray tans. Their beds are awesome, always clean and with fresh bulbs. You’ll get great color but be forewarned this isn’t LA, don’t think you can do the same level there that you do at Sun Devil, you WILL burn. Also, whats great about their spray tans is that they offer the VersaSpa instead of Mystics. Versa is great for your skin and you will always come out with soft skin and brown, never orange. I recommend doing the Level 2 clear. They offer 3 levels with three being the darkest and then the option of clear or bronze. Bronze is immediate color whereas the clear will take about 6 – 12 hours to develop, in my experience the clear comes out much more even, realistic looking, and smells a lot less. I did want to mention that I’ve never had a bad experiences with the employees here. Sadly I shouldn’t have to feel like I should point that out but from coming from LA Tan where the girls seem to be bothered that you even came in I felt it was worth mentioning. Moral of this review, if you’re in the area, definitely go hit up Sun Devil.

These guys are great. I’ve been going here for three years now and even waited out a recent fire there to go back.
Especially now with the new beds and such, this place just beats the rest hands down. Easy to get to, the staff is always friendly, and if the owner is in, he makes it a point to talk with all those that come in.
Fair prices round out a great place to go tanning.
