Sun Fx

Years ago, I went to Sun FX & used their spray tanning booth for an upcoming formal I was attending. I had used their booths before & never had a complaint until my very last experience.
I noticed that when I excited the booth, my skin looked a little greenish & something just didn’t seem right. So I used one of their wipes on my arm & sure enough the residue was green! I knew this wasn’t normal & went out to the lobby to speak to the staff. Both girls were extremely rude!!! One of the ignored my question & rolled her eyes at me. The second girl lied to me & told me not to worry about it, it’s normal. And acted like nothing unusual happened & ignored me.
So I went back to the booth, got dressed & demanded a full refund when I came out. Again the first girl ignored me & again the second one was just as unprofessional. My entire body was green! Idk why these two idiots tried to play it off like I was in the wrong. They refused to give me a refund so I threatened to call the cops, they still refused but explained that only a manager could give a refund. Of course one wasn’t present. I didn’t want to be sprayed green so I left to go home & shower before it was too late.
I returned hours later, still no manager & then one of the girls had the nerve to tell me I couldn’t prove I turned green from their booth & couldn’t get a refund. (Took everything I had not to punch her!) I kept the wipe I used with the green residue & the receipt & got right back in her face. They called the manager once with no success. The second girl called another tanning salon but hung up too quickly & pretended to be concerned.
I then went to TNT Tanning up the street, explained what happened & the girls took amazing care of me immediately! They also agreed with me that the solution used in the spray booths should NEVER turn anyone green. I emailed Sun FX & a spokes person from the company was nice enough to call me & clearly explained that the solution would only turn green if it was expired & was kind enough to email me the explanation so that I could take it with me when I returned to Sun FX for my refund.
The manager wasn’t there until the following day but she was even ruder than the girls & had a very nasty, unprofessional attitude! She refused to give me a refund & denied that they would ever use expired products until I pulled out my wipe & email from the company. She never apologized for her staffs behavior nor her own. I hear they have new owners now but the review on yahoo was horrible– do yourself a favor & don’t even bother giving these jerks a chance.
