I would not recommend this company at all. When I discussed the project with Taylor, we agreed on a price and he advised me he had a 4 man crew and it would be no problem. He’s a young man who lives in my neghiborhood so I was trying to keep things local. 15 tons of stone to be moved into my back yard along the fence line and to redo my RV parking area. He estimated it would only take a few hours with his «crew». I hired them for labor only. I arranged for and bought all materials myself they were hired to put in about 80 feet of metal edging and then place the stone that was delivered.
The evening before I got an email that it was going to cost me an additional 200.00. I agreed as stone was being delievered the next morning. I was stuck between a rock and hard place basically. Next morning bright and early. 1 guy shows up. There was no 4 man crew. About an hour later an additional guy shows up.
This now 3 – 4 hour job turned into about 12 hours. I finally told them to put the extra in a specific place and come back in a few days to move it. Well it’s been a month and this morning I got an email saying that they weren’t coming back to give me free work. Yes there had to be an additional load of stone brought because it was under estimated by the company that game me the onage I would need based on square footage.
Oh. did I mention the chunk they took out of my less then 1 yr old concrete patio with the loader he rented. It’s a shame that people will not stand by their work and complete jobs. I have had to fill in places that were completely missed and now will have to move the left over myself.
