Not only are the prices SUPERHIGH, Quite a bit of the stuff they sell is available at Lowes or Home Depot for way less– Store hours which is from 10AM-5PM. It seems to me if they were serious about business they’d have comparable hours at least. I guess it’s a great place if your growing tomatoes & have alot of money to do so & aint worried about the cost of growing them. Finally, they have a giant Sunroom in the front, yet all the plants in their are ½ dead so I’m not so sure on any advice they give even at growing tomatoes whether alone a giant tomato.

Although this place isn’t in the best location and is pretty small, it’s still a good place to check out. At first, I felt a little uncomfortable going in. I had my kids with me and thought, «Great, I’m going to be judged by every person in here…» But I was wrong. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. They answered every question, provided suggestions and advice and even gave us some free tomato and eggplant seedlings to take home. The prices aren’t bad and I think it makes it worth it when you’re surrounded by such knowledgeable and helpful staff. My only complaint is… one of my kids had to use the restroom. And it was filthy and run down and in desperate, desperate need of cleaning. Aside from that one negative, it’s a nice little store with lots of products to choose from and very helpful staff. On a side note, I was there with an actual interest in establishing a hydroponic system and not for the use of growing the obvious!

This place is pretty much perfect. The staff was very knowledgeable, yet wasn’t pushy in trying to sell products. Very kind, helpful people. I have been to other local hydro stores where I felt like I was about to be sold a timeshare and some life insurance(ahem, Growize …) Their prices are lower than even online outfits — and I am a one cheap bastard so this is saying a lot. Sign up for their preferred customer card and save an additional 10%. On top of the awesome prices, they have a great selection — I found everything I was looking for. Their location does kinda suck(out in Aurora), but with these prices and the awesome staff, it’s definitely worth the drive. Finally found my go-to place. Take the trip to see them — trust me, it’s worth it. :)

gone here to get some supplies and advice. staff is always friendly and greets me when i walk in. they are well staffed and knowledgeable. **sorry about the other poster, dude. but you cant even walk into a head shop and ask about your particular product, card or not. its still federally illegal. and when companies pay federal taxes, they have a right to filter what they want. next time just call it sweet potatoes. or go online for advice** their selection of products is great. high end products of well known brands to the gardening community: organic, natural, and a great variety. they have both hydroponic and soil based products. hard to find stuff too. they have a showroom too which is a good. i think pricing is a bit high, but i use a discount card. but when it comes to convenience before having to buy online and wait/pay for shipping, its worth it if you need something pronto. the location is a bit out of the way, but again, convenience vs. buying online. will go back again as needed.

OHHHNOOOOOO, A GIANTFUCKINGTOMATO!!! Hmmm, I feel like being the first one to review this business gives me the power to elevate them… or destroy them :) Well I came in here based on the recommendation of a friend. I was told they had competitive prices, good service and quality merchandise. I subsequently checked all this online on growing forums and it appears as though my friend was rite. So I borrow my roommates car and drive all the way to Aurora(minus one star due to inconvenient location to the Denver Metro public) and wait 10 minutes to speak with an employee who I am told will show me any products I need and explain them to me in great detail. Listening to the man talk to another customer about exhaust fans, he seemed to know quite a bit, so I was excited to get his help. It never came. Another man offered to help me while I was waiting. I proceeded to tell him I wanted high quality organic soil and some reflective wall covering, and what I was really growing(which isn’t a Big Fucking Tomato by the way) so he could give me truthful advice about growing herb(I am legal and had paperwork). He proceeded to interrupt me, tell me he couldn’t help me and asked me to leave. I told him I had paperwork and was totally legal, and he continued to explain it was company policy(minus another star!) and he was sorry and I had to go, now. Ok, so I probably shouldn’t have been stupid enough to mention growing something that is such a taboo subject(not like everyone else in that fucking shop wasn’t growing herb too; Oh yeah, I wear tidied t-shirts and have dreadlocks and I’m just REALLY into growing vegetables indoors. Who are they fooling?!) but I had paperwork and wanted the guy to know what I was growing to see if there was soil specifically for that, and that company policy is retarded. So I’m leaving a neutral reference since the prices were good and the service(If you don’t mention legal medicine) seems very good too, but they kicked me out so I can’t bring myself to leave 4 or 5 stars. Oh, and did I mention the location sucks?
