The Learning Experience

My daughter went here for about a year starting right when they opened in January of 2013, we had issues almost immediately. There was a little boy in my daughters class who was always hitting her, I brought it up with the director many times but not much was done about it, I think because the little boy has a sister who was in the infant room and the tuition for infants is insane so they were making more money off that family than my family. I also felt like my daughter went backward in her potty training progress when she started there, not much work was done on it.
The school went downhill dramatically after the first director Jill left. After she left there was almost no one ever covering the phones or the front desk. Pretty scary having your kid in a daycare where during the day you can never get ahold of anyone!
I took my daughter out of the school and I got a letter about a month later saying the school was under review for child abuse, the letter didn’t give any details on which teacher was accused and I didn’t call to find out.
Then icing on the cake, if you want to pay the listed tuition price you have to pay by ACH from your bank account (it’s like direct deposit but it gives them access to take money out of your account) when they first opened you could pay by check instead but they changed it. So we set up to do the ACH payments and 4 months after I took my daughter out of the school they debited $ 475 from my bank account and I had to wait over a month for them to verify they took the money out and send me a check to reimburse me! Thank goodness we had the extra money!
The only reason I’m giving two starts is because my daughters teachers were absolutely wonderful and my daughter learned a lot.
