Being an old Limited employee and knowing the expectations, the management is horrible. Stephanie has gotten better but the foreign lady with the glasses and frizzy brown is ridiculously rude. I assume spending over $ 200 is the only way she will pretend to do her job properly, customer service. So close and convenient but I need to find another location. But is be the ahole if I made her day go south. Adjust your attitude or find a job not dealing with ppl.

Yeah… no. The Limited is decent. I’ve always been more of an Express gal myself, most likely because I sold my soul to the devil when I worked there. but I digress. besides, the quality of both companies clothing has gone way down hill over the past ten years. I wandered into here looking for a top for my mom to wear under her blazers for work. I found a very nice top in a cranberry color that I thought would look fabulous on her. I wasn’t pressured into purchasing anything and even got it @ 50%. Which made me want to buy the eggplant version for myself but Christmas is about giving, not receiving so I didn’t *applause* Anyway, the overall experience wasn’t overwhelming. The selection of clothing was aiight, the staff was aiight… but the girl that rang me up was kiiinda a b. I mean, I get it. believe me, I worked retail during Christmas at the likes of Forever 21, Express, Journeys. and so on, but really. I wasn’t being a pain in the ass, I was friendly, ready to pay for my purchase and she just gave me attitude when I asked for a gift box and was like«oh we have some but they’re bigger so it would look stupid to put just this in one of those». Really… I mean, really. I just don’t understand the mentality of some of these retail ppl these days. Be nice, yes it is a job requirement. That’s why it’s called customer service, dude. Besides, this ain’t Neiman Marcus. Get over yourself. Or get a new job.

Eulogy to fashion… Once this store had clothing worth buying, it was chock full of new lines, unique styles and good fitting pants. Now, here is the pastel green section, here is the pastel pink section, and so on. About the time I hit working in corporate America this store split from its Express style clothing into some weird hybrid of casual office wear that just doesn’t do it for me. There is such as thing as too much organization — everything seems color coded — with colors I can’t stand, so I never bother going in these days.
