The Maids

Very disappointing. Paid far too much for not much cleaning at all. What they did clean was done well. I spent hours the night before cleaning areas of my house so they could concentrated on the work I wanted done. I made sure there was very little on the floor. They said it took most of the time clearing the floor and cleaning areas I had gone over. I would think that dusting family photos and end tables would be more important than the shoe mat. Will not use their services again, which is a shame. I will have to find another company to come in on a regular basis.

I have never reviewed any service in my life but my experience with The Maids was so poor that I just have to warn others. When I scheduled my appointment I was sold on the phone with the national representative. She listed all of the things the four person team would clean. It sounded amazing!
The results were a different story! I was told they would clean the interior f my cabinets. Yet after they left I found so many crumbs and dirt that when I took a rag to the shelves the rags were nearly black. Instead of getting to unpack my boxes, I spent all my time cleaning what should have been done by The Maids. I was told the light switches would be sanitized and cleaned. My sister had to take a toothpick to the switches to clean what should have been done by The Maids. I literally redid everything. I honestly wonder what they cleaned? I was told they would clean the vents but then later the franchise owner told me they don’t do that. I would advise anyone to save their money and go with a different cleaning service! If you expect things to be done right-​do not hire The Maids of Aurora.

VERY inconsistent in cleaning, follow-​up and scheduling. Have left dirty cleaning cloths, floor under table left uncleaned, garbage not pciked up in all rooms. Inconsistent scheduling caused lots of trouble for me. Looking for new service

I give this cleaning service the top rating without hesitation because they did the trick in getting the old house spotless and sanitized in time for our closing, and the management was able to assemble a crew on short notice.
They send a SWAT team — four people show up in a little, bright yellow car (I believe they are a ServiceMaster company) and get to work. Very nice ladies. After about two hours, we wished we could just stay there.
