Love this bar! We have been coming here for years for poker on Thursday nights. It is a great neighborhood bar and thanks to Vicki, we always have a blast! If you are looking for something low key with a lot of personality, the Sandcreek Lounge is your place!

Friendly and capable staff. Good service with a great Saturday night Steak and Ribs dinner.
Karaōke on Wednesday and Saturday nights.
Darts, pool, poker nights and a nice heated outdoor area.
Great place to catch a Bronco’s game.

This place was like home for me while I was in Aurora for two months. I have so many great memories of spending Saturdays here watching the Husker games! They always grilled out delicious food out back during the games too. The drinks were reasonably priced and even if you didn’t want to eat their food, there was a Wing Stop and I think a Little Caesars next door. They don’t mind if you bring food in from outside.
Man, eatin some Wing Stop cheese fries while drinking and watching some good old Nebraska Football?
I felt like I never left Nebraska!

Last time I visited Sand Creek, i thought the service couldn’t get worse. I was wrong. Sat in booth waiting for my food order from next door Wing Stop. The «waitress» walked by 3 times, carrying the same empty pitcher in her hand, chatting it up with a regular, then disappeared. I was thirsty for a beer. After 15 minutes, i figured the beer at Wing Stop would taste just as good. On my way out of Sand Creek, there’s the waitress texting on her phone and chatting it up with the Little Caesar’s pizza guy, two doors down. Looking for a family vacation to the site of the Sand Creek Massacre? Save some gas and try getting services at this establishment.

We go to a lot of dives in aurora but this one is just nasty! People are wasted and looking for a fight! The bartenders are actually pretty good! Their liquor options are definitely lacking. Do not bother!

Maybe I’m just not the dive bar type, but I really wanted to take a shower after I left this place. It smelled like mold, and when I went to wash my hands in the bathroom, I realized there was actually mold growing on the faucet. NASTY! Someone poured me a beer out of a pitcher, and there were ice cubes in my beer… Really!!! As if Coors Light wasn’t already nasty enough. The crowd was also mostly older folks (50’s and 60’s), and most of them seemed to be completely shmammered. At that age, I hope I have grown out of my hammered bar-​hopping stage. I definitely won’t be coming anywhere near this place in the future.
