I have fond memories of this place as a child, and it’s dear to my heart, but I don’t think I can justify more than a three star rating. It tends to be a mess, the prices are a bit high, and the people working here usually seem like they just stopped coming here themselves a couple of years ago. As far as toy stores go, this is a good one, in that it is large and has tons of toys – however, you can buy toys at better prices at other stores or online. I would like to mention, though, that there are great ‘exclusive’ toys here that are worth the price – I just bought an awesome Nerf sword for my three year old nephew that was exclusive to Toys-R-Us after I had searched high and low for one that was age appropriate. It was less than fifteen bucks and was my nephews favorite gift. I also feel that being the only real toy store around should be factored into the rating; after all, there’s still nothing better than taking a child to a toy store and letting him or her explore and choose a toy. I understand that sometimes parents don’t always monitor their children, or make an effort to stop them from running around and making a mess, but then again, this is a damn toy store, what else do you expect? I was there a few days before Christmas and it was a MESS, but I think that is to be expected; I’ve been there a couple of time in the middle of the week in the early afternoon, and it wasn’t that much more tidy; that’s a little harder to understand. I like this store, though, and it will continue to be the place I take my nephew to every now and then to spoil him a little.

My son returned a birthday gift… Son: «No Ma’am, I’d like cash instead of store credit». Store employee: «Just let me call a manager. He’s the only one who does that». Store manager: «We don’t do that. Only credit unless it was paid for with cash». Me: «Was it paid for in cash?». Store manager: «I have no idea. There’s no way to know that». If it didn’t mean just giving this company free money, I’d throw the store credit away.

I really try to avoid Toys R Us in general but especially on Saturdays. But this trip was unavoidable since I came in search of a specific party favor that I really hope will wow these kids. It really added to my dreading this, the fact that the parking lot was beyond full. But this is the price you pay to be super mom. Crowded stores, fist fights, waiting lists… anyway… I walked in, and I was pleasantly surprised. No crowds, no tribes of wild children, no angry moms ready to snatch a weave. But best of all and more importantly the store was clean, nearly pristine really. Not a single item out of place. I grabbed what I needed and headed to the service desk(since I had an exchange) and barley had to wait. I was in and out in about 5 minutes flat. I still avoid Toys R Us(way overpriced) but I’m thinking this will be my go to location if I really have to go.

You frustrate me beyond words but I’ll give it a try. The customer service is extremely slow and the prices on some items, especially Lego can be up to 35% above retail. I stopped shopping here at Christmas and picky swore with my hubby to never return. I’ll purchase all my B-day and Christmas gifts at other stores or online.

We had just visited the factory outlet and needed to get something for our friend’s kid who was a flower girl. Toys R Us seemed like a good plan. It’s big and bright inside and the aisles are fairly wide so there’s plenty of room to maneuver around. Got one of those floor pianos which you step on. Great!

Toys R Us is great! I used their«site to store» feature, so I didn’t really get to look around, but their website is easy to use, and when I went to get my items, it was easy peasy! I was in and out in five minutes, and the woman was super nice.

The store manager is a thief. As in criminal, should be tossed into«pound me in the ass prison» thief. My wife placed an order online for in store pickup. When we went there, the item was unavailable and the manager promised that we were not charged. Days later, we found that we were in fact charged and the item was picked up by someone that was not us. We spent 2 hours on the phone with customer service, at one time being dropped by a supervisor because she didn’t have a CallForward button on her phone. We are on the 10th caller presently, none of them have bothered to forward details to the next so we wouldn’t have to re-explain the problem. The lack of any customer service capabilities, the dishonesty of management, and the contempt towards customers is amazing

I came for a clearance event and found what I was looking for immediately without the assistance of an employee. With time to spare, I browsed around and found employees talking loud and joking around. As I made my way to the register, no one was around to help, and when they did, the open line was all the way in the electronics department.
