Been here many times with the same result. «Tis the Season to be Jolly»…except at Walgreens.
They are open 24 hours and that’s what you’ll need to get through the check out line!
The cashiers are yappy and you will not be happy!

The manager had to help me with one of my transactions and was very fast and efficient. If the line gets a little too long, the cashier would called for help with a code of «C3» (I assume stands for see 3 people) and someone would open up another register. The cashier I’ve had here have been very friendly and helpful. The store is well stocked and products and sales are correctly labeled. Don’t forget to sign up for the free balance reward program to get the sale prices and potential to earn points.

As a general rule, I am a fan of Walgreens. Not only is Walgreens based out of the Chicagoland area, but every time I go in there I always find awesome things at great prices. Ever since the Jewel across the street from this Walgreens closed I have found myself stopping in here for the things I normally would have bought from Jewel.
While their Grocery department isn’t anything to write home about, they do have the bare essentials, and they never seem to be out of stock. As for the rest of the store they have a huge selection of all sorts of different items for less than you would find just about anywhere else. I recently signed up for their rewards program and I have found it to be very useful. I regularly get coupons for prescriptions, and I also get coupons for 20% of contact lenses! yay!
I have to recommend that the next time you find yourself at this Walgreens you check out the amazing array of Mexican candles that they have in their candle section. They are really cool. I also recommend picking up t-​shirts and sandals at Walgreens as I have bought one of my favorite shirts at Walgreens as well as some very cute sandals that have held up better than almost anything I own.
The reason that this Walgreens in particular gets 5 stars is the employees. There is this one older lady who’s a cashier there who is very friendly and always makes you feel welcome. She once told me all about how she just LOVES her job, and as a former cashier myself I can’t tell you just how rare that is! I have always found the employees here to be helpful and welcoming and so if you find yourself in need of a Walgreens in Aurora i suggest you make your way here! :)

The only thing I like about this location is the fact that it’s open 24 hours when most others in the area have bizarre hours.
The pharmacy department is always understaffted. Home sick from work and picking up a presciption your doctor called in at 10 am on a Tuesday? Stopping after work around 5 o’clock? Just driving by at 9 at night? In any of these scenarios, you’ll wait forever (even if you called in your refill 2 days ago) and the same dark haired male employee will tell you that someone will «be right with you.» This guy conveniently is always stepping out on his break EVERY time there is a rush. Their drive thru is uselessly slow to the point where they shouldn’t even have one. Their drive thru even once returned my debit card to the other lane! They sped off before I realized it and their employee didn’t even apologize. By the time I called my bank less than 10 minutes later, there were already 2 fraudulent charges on the card!
The last two times I’ve been in the store, every advertisement over the intercom has been in Spanish. People are welcome to immigrate, however they are also welcome to assimilate and learn the language of the country they are in!
I always leave here in a bad mood even on the best day. Again, their ONLY redeeming quality is that they’re always open.

great walgreens location. its small but they carry everything you need. You can always talk to Greg the manager and ask him to carry new items. The employees are friendly and funny.
