We went here for the first time today. We arrived around 10am and they hardly had any donuts available, very poor selection, so I’m not sure if someone had been in before and bought the whole lot or they just don’t produce much as they are a family run business. We did get some donut holes. They were very good indeed and comparable, if not better, than TimBits from Canada(those who has frequented Tim Hortons will know what I mean). As a European I did find them a little sweet, my American partner said they were just right. I would come here again, maybe earlier in the morning to see if they have a better stock.

I’m not a donut eater but occasionally an inexplicable craving drives me to a donut shop and if I have one(or three), –they must be good-. These were indeed good. However, the cinnamon roll I was almost served had a LONG black curled hair on it visible from outside the case. I finally got the person(an Asian male) to see it and he threw it out. It left a bad taste in my mouth. As I started looking around, I noticed how dirty the shop was(under the outward esthetics) and questioned if the shop could pass a board of health inspection. I suspect they might fail. Good product, dirty preparation and store condition. Would like to things cleaned up.

One of my workmates brought donuts this morning. After I ate mine I emailed her and asked«WHERE did you get those donuts?! I can tell they are not from a chain or grocery store» In Northern California you find FAMILY owned donut shops like you find chain bagel shops here. One every few blocks. I will go out of my way to visit Walton’s now that I know there is a real family owned place not to far away. I was so happy to read they have BAVARIAN cream, also the sign of a real donut place instead of the gross white stuff used here.

Tasty donuts! Great coffee! Highly recommend! The glazed donuts are very fluffy and baked just right. The cream filled and jelly filled donuts are hard to beat as they fill the insides completely up!!!

I’m not a huge donut connoisseur so forgive my naïveté but I think these are pretty darn good for sin cakes. They’re light and the fillings seem more fresh and light than others. The bear claws leave a bit to be desired though. Biggest bonus is walking/biking distance from our house and it’s next to the JeffCo motor vehicle office. FYI — Read Jason J’s review for one the better donut shop reviews I’ve seen ;)

I was so excited for them to open. My first visit was great so we decided to go again the morning of July 4th and when we got there they were sold out. It was a little before 9 am and sold out. I’m still not sure if we will go back but the one time we ate there they were good.

I needed to pick up a couple dozen of very specific donuts so I tried calling the day before to place my order(they close at 2pm during the week) from about 12:30 til about 1:30 and they never picked up their phone. Not too big of a deal, but a little annoying. I also find it weird that on their web site they only list 2 locations, but when you Unilocal it a whole bunch more pop up. Are they independent? Not affiliated? Really bad at updating their site? Regardless, none of it really mattered as much since I was going to the Parker location. I got there a little before 7:30am on a Friday and they still had just about everything to choose from. My absolutely favorite are the jelly-filled so I got a few of those just for me. Staff was very helpful and quick. No complaints there! And the donuts were fabulous of course!

Today I woke up and decided I was going to start living the life I wanted now instead of waiting for some future unknown like a girlfriend, a family, or for Netflix to buy the rights to Firefly and bring it back. Which explains how I found myself in this donut shop at 7:58am this morning. Carpe donut! It’s okay, though, because I walked here and that 5 minute walk probably burned enough calories for me to scarf down a donut or two. At least that’s what I believe, and if I believe it, it’s true for me which means it must be true for me but not necessarily for you. Yes, I have fantastic epistemological truthiness skills. First thing’s first — how are those damn donuts? They’re pretty good, actually. The best I’ve had in Aurora so far. They will definitely help you achieve your goal of becoming a tub of lard(that means they taste good). I usually get the cinnamon swirl and a raised glazed or a cake glazed and they’re all very tasty and I eat them in spite of the foreknowledge of the stomach ache to come. Once, long ago they had tiger tails — no not real ones you sicko — but these long twisted donuts with chocolate and cinnamon and so delicious you could eat them all day through a sort of bulimic system I developed, but you can stop dreaming about it because for some reason they stopped making them and my life and girth really haven’t been the same since. The price? Average. More expensive than some better places I’ve been to in other states, though. Today I spent $ 2.90 on two donuts, which seems expensive to me, but I only come here every other month so really it’s about $.05 a day which seems pretty affordable. Even if I was on welfare I’d be able to afford five cents a day for an occasional donut. The place? Eh. Let’s just say there’s a reason you never see anyone eating there. It would sort of be like watching groups eat pizza at Papa Johns or shooting the breeze in a CA$H4G0LD!!! shop… it just doesn’t happen. Everyone looks around, realizes they really don’t want to eat their wonderful donut in this uninviting place, and takes it home or goes to the pet store next door to pet some kittehs while they gobble down their fried sugar lard ball, thus becoming one with their food and showing us once again that we are what we eat. I’m giving this place 4 stars because it’s pretty good and close for me, and minus one star for the atmosphere. Because face it, you’re coming here to eat something you know you shouldn’t and will make you feel terrible after, not to sit in a place for an hour with a crappy bathroom that you’re going to destroy in about 15 minutes. You know, it’s sort of like visiting a brothel — you know you shouldn’t do it and you know you’ll feel bad afterwards… but when you get there and it just doesn’t seem like a nice place, do you leave? Nope. Because you’re not there for a nice place. You’re there to spend a hundred bucks on an ugly girl that hates you, pick up lice from the sheets that were used by 250 sweaty people before you, and finally catch that disease you’ve always dreamed of. Anyway, the place is fine as long as you eat at home or in the car or even outside the place, as long as you follow the one established rule that everyone else follows: you can eat your donut anywhere except inside this establishment. If Walton’s Donuts started serving upscale coffee, put in couches and did some interior decoration, it could be very popular(especially since there’s a gym a couple doors down, and only the biggest gym rat could always turn down an awesome coffee & donuts place after a hard workout)… but instead it’s almost always empty. Too bad; I hope they make it.

The donuts were really good. I would have given them five stars but the bacon donuts wasn’t quite up to what I wanted. If I had only gotten glazed donuts, it would have been a five.

I went here on Father’s Day morning to bring some donuts to dad and the family. His favorite is cheese Danish and they didn’t have it they also only have Bavarian cream filled long johns and we prefer white cream. They have the classics like cinnamon twists, apple fritters, jelly filled, Bavarian filled, glazed raised and cake but not a lot more. I had the raspberry filled and it was absolutely delicious. The dough is so light, and the filling was the perfect blend of tart and sweet. I got my dad a cake donut that he really enjoyed. I would definitely recommend picking up some donuts the next time you pass by this place. The staff was friendly and it seemed to be family owned.

This is a great neighborhood donut place. I enjoy taking the kids there once a month on Sunday mornings. They have a great selection and a good environment for the family. I hope they can keep up with the business. We stay for a good 30 mins and they have a lot of business coming in. They have only come close to running out once when we were there. That will be there biggest challenge since they bake at their other location. Hopefully Cheri(2 stars) will try it again.

Came in on Christmas eve for a dozen donuts and was warmly greeted with a smile and some conversation. I grabbed my coffee and donuts to take back home and was surprised at how great the donuts were! Awesome place, great prices. Definitely recommend Walton’s.(Funny that it’s next to a 24hr Fitness, but healthy people need donut love too.)
