Waste Management – DADS Landfill

As expensive as as they are, they did not pick up one of my trash cans and refused to come back, which is the theft of service, and so much trash pile up and yet they will not pick up extra bags left out by the trashcan because of laziness I picked the wrong trash company

Just signed up for trash service with Waste Management and the only reason why we didn’t give it 5 stars is because we had a Brenda as our rep and she was so bland. We asked to speak to someone else and so we got Vanessa… she was great! Had a great upbeat personality and was soooo helpful! Good rates too. Thank you Vanessa for making it an easy transaction!

Pretty easy place to recycle. I stopped in here today since my normal drop off is closed after 1:00 p.m. If you’re just taking recycling, you only have to stop in to the weigh station and get a printed receipt (its still free). They use it for tracking purposes only apparently. Either way, the place is actually really clean for a landfill. The recycling area has clearly been well kept and has all of the streams. The gal at the station was quick, courteous, and helpful.

I drive by this place nearly every single day, and I’ve always been curious about it. Recently, I was looking for a place to ditch a ton of phone books that had been piling up over the years. With a guilty conscience I didn’t want to just throw them in my dumpster at home so I was determined to find a place to recycle them.
I realized DADS had ‘public recycling center’ on their sign so I dropped in to the office to see what the deal was. The lady that I spoke with in the office was very helpful and gave me a couple of different instruction papers as well as a nifty little reminder sign of what I could and could not recycle with them.
Being that it was my first time there when I drove up to the gate I was a little uncertain if I was in the right place, and in fact I was in the wrong lane and got yelled at for parking on the scale! Oops. Anyways, I managed to find my way back to the recycling center and drop off my books. I’m really glad that I found this place and I plan to use it frequently in the future!
