Willamette Aviation Service

I have been involved in the aviation/​airline industry for many years. I have visited a number of flight schools & FBO’s over those years. Initially what drew me to Willamette Aviation was their website. Prior to visiting I was able to learn more about the company and the services they offered.
My son is interested in aviation and wanted to learn more by taking a discovery flight to gain insight into the requirements of flight training. Willamette Aviation offers a discovery flight with several options included for various fees. The day of the discovery flight we arrived at Willamette Aviation and were greeted by their friendly and professional staff. We were also introduced to the flight instructor that would be conducting the orientation flight for my son. I must say I was impressed from the get go. The level of professionalism and confidence displayed by the staff immediately put my son at ease and only further enhanced the whole experience for him. The flight instructor spent a considerable amount of time with us and answered all of my son’s questions openly and honestly. Following the discovery flight (which I was also able to partake) we arrived back on the ground at Willamette Aviation. Shortly after arriving we were greeted by the owner/​operator of Willamette Aviation. I was so impressed that this gentleman took the time to come out and introduce himself to me and my son. Shortly thereafter the owner took a digital picture of my son next to the aircraft that he had just completed his first flight in. My son was given an awesome photo neatly packaged in a «First Flight» card to recognize this special occasion!
Needless to say after all of our positive encounters with the staff and the incredible flight my son was absolutely confident that he wanted to go forward and continue with flight lessons to obtain his FAA Pilot’s License. As of now he has begun his flight training at Willamette Aviation and needless to say I am 100% impressed with every aspect of our encounters and experiences with the staff at Willamette.
