They heat up their soup in the microwave. I could do that myself at home. It would taste better and be much cheaper. False advertising!

We went for breakfast, the service was poor. The cashier took 5 min to turnaround and help us, looked like she was staring at the counter doing nothing. The breakfast sandwiches were okay, would have been just as good going through a drive thru. The breakfast potatoes were stale and old. We won’t be going back.

I’m not big on reviewing chains, but here I am. Had breakfast here yesterday since the place we wanted to try was on a 40 minute wait. Had a bowl of fruit and their quiche pie, along with their caramel apple cider. The cider was waaaay too sweet. Tasted like someone poured in about ¼ cup of apple juice and then squirted in caramel syrup to fill the cup. I think I may have gotten three cavities from it. The fruit was SUPER fresh, which was awesome, and the quiche pie was tasty. Service was not the best. I think part of that was they were overwhelmed, but it was definitely lacking and not the friendliest. I want to come back and try lunch at some point, so I’m sure there’ll be an update.

Been here a couple times from breakfast and lunch. It’s a pretty good café. The food is overall tasty, and the cookies are relish. The staff is always very friendly and helpful too. It’s not food I’d write home about, but it’s tasty and homey.

Came here yesterday for lunch and ordered the Ham and Brie panini. I also got a bag of chips, the chocolate chip cookie, snickerdoodle cookie and peanut butter cookie. The sandwich was okay. I don’t like that they put apple in the sandwich. taste better without it. I am going to ask if I can get it without the apple next time or perhaps try something out. The chips were just average chips you could get anywhere. The peanut butter cookie was for my boyfriend so I don’t have much to say about it besides that he seemed to enjoy it. The snickerdoodle cookie was good. I think the snickerdoodle at The Cookie Company down the way from here is better. … then I had their chocolate chip cookie. OHMAN. that was good. Addicting really. I will be back to try other things and get more of those chocolate chip cookies. Yum!

COOKIES!!! We were given free ones with our sandwiches, and they really were the highlight of our lunches. Good paninis and lattes, but to me it’s not worth fighting the lunchtime crowds on a weekend to get pretty standard paninis and lattes. So be sure to try the freshly baked sweets!

Super busy day at the mall. When we got home from Woody’s we noticed we were missing some of our food. When I called, Ben was very helpful. We went back to pick up the missing food from Ben. Not only did we get that but a lunch for the future. This place is not only clean but bright and the staff were all polite. Ben’s service is impeccable. Thank you and we’ll be coming back, free lunch or not.

I love their Chicken Caesar salad. They use the same recipes for those who remember this Café as Paradise, so everything is still excellent. I’ve tried several of their soups and the Chicken & Rice is my favorite. Save room for cookies. Close match between chocolate chip and snickerdoodle!

I went here four times, and all four times I regretted it. Never again. I live nearby, and my wife and I both telecommute from home. We wanted a place we could go every Friday and work/eat/talk/coffee for 1 – 2 hours. We wanted someplace that could make breakfast, have decent coffees/teas, internet so we could check emails and organize our day, etc. Not much to ask for? Well, to Woody Creek it is. Food: The breakfast is bad. I wonder how they can screw it up so bad. Last time we were there, the croissant breakfast sandwich tasted bad, so I dissected it and the ham was moldy. Really!!! Ugh no way no how. Coffee/tea: How can you screw this up so bad so consistently? Coffee tastes burnt although it is fresh. Espresso is cold. Tea? Hot water and a tea bag, not hard to mess up. Good luck with hot water, and I also had stale tea. Internet: Never stays up. I cannot VPN as it keeps on bouncing. Always talk the managers, they always reboot, and it always fails.

I give Woody Creek one star because their cookies are good, but that’s pretty much it. I live close to this café and have visited it several times, I always regret it afterwards. The food is not very good, especially breakfast! The croissant sandwich is the only decent breakfast item and they were out of croissants a couple mornings. Really?! The staff is also disorganized and unhelpful. Half of my orders have been wrong and then I have to wait again in the line to let someone know and then more waiting for the correct order. Too much work! Usually no one is quick to make sure the customer is happy, I hate crappy customer service! I could go on and on with more stories of awful service and food from here… Go to Panera or Einstein’s instead, save yourself the hassle.

Woody Creek didn’t jive with me. I felt like the portions were tiny — I ordered a chicken and artichoke panini with a side of pasta salad — and the environment wasn’t really inviting. The sandwich was fine, but nothing special. The pasta salad was bland and flavorless. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing? It feels like the place could really take off in this area, which is sorely lacking in cozy, coffee-shop-like places. But they’ll have to warm-up the interior. With those high ceilings and hard chairs, the place feels cold & damp instead of inviting and intimate. Not the kind of place where I want to kick back and linger over a nice cup of coffee and a sandwich or bowl of soup.

This place has great potential, but stopping here for breakfast has proven to be a bad experience. The employees always seem to act like I’m interrupting them when I place my order. Most recently, two ladies decided to spend another five minutes finishing their conversation before starting to make my breakfast sandwich. For a $ 7 croissant sandwich, I’d hope for better service.

My son and I had lunch here today for the first time. All foods we ordered were great. Especially chicken artichoke panini! I definitely go back again.

The food is quite good, and the portions are decent. Fresh food, friendly staff and it’s a Colorado company. Great lunch or light dinner stop. I recommend the ravioli. They offer a great military discount, too!

This is still a regular stop when we visit Southlands about twice a month. It’ was a Paradise Bakery and Café, but recently changed names. Another reviewer says things have«perked up» since the change. I don’t see it. The décor’s the same; the menu’s the same; the food quality is still excellent; the service is still excellent; even the guy who works the grill is the same guy who’s worked the grill since I first started frequenting the place. Only the name is different. Can’t discern that anything has«perked up».

This is now Woody’s. The name has changed and they broke off from Panera/Paradise. THANKYOU… I don’t care for Panera(yes, Panera and Paradise were the same company). Of course its all seems the same and I always favored this location… but after the change the whole place has perked up and the last three visits have been top notch. Extra star! Plus, it is now a Colorado based bakery/deli — I hear the owner had a few and converted them all. Nice work! Please update Unilocal so I can give you the same rave review.

Paradise in Southlands? OK, not quite, but a nice spot to use some free wi-fi, chomp on a sugar cookie & have a sandwich! I really like Paradise Bakery — I don’t love it :) Their Paradise Club served up on a croissant is super yummy(although it is so crummy you have to eat it over something or risk coming out covered in buttery croissant crumbs! They have some good salads too, I like their Caesars and the BBQ Chicken isn’t bad either. They have breakfast too(more than just baked goods) which always looks good, but I have never tried it. This location is a nice one since it is open and has lots of seats. It is right off Main Street in Southlands so it is nice place to stop if you are shopping. There are parking spots right out front(or off to the side too) and you can usually get in and out quick! Always nice ;)

Paradise Bakery — A Haiku A Chicken Walnut sandwich. A Chocolate Chip cookie. Makes a Meal. The sandwiches here are pretty much on par with the other sandwich shops around town. The ingredients are fresher, yet the taste lacks something. The baked goods are really where this place shines. Especially their cookies. They are very tasty. Very soft, very gewy and definitely made fresh. If I had to pick when to eat at paradise, it would be on a lazy Sunday morning on a warm summer weekend. Just a pop in for a cup of coffee and a tasty baked treat. A side note for all the technorati out there, no free wi fi.
