So far so good! They are very kind and organized. Flexible pay schedule and nice teachers who seem to love what they do. Plenty of email communication and all expectations were set at the parent orientation. During registration they treated my daughter like a queen and gave her a tour of the studio. We were also referred to a dance apparel store where she could get all the stuff she needed for class. I look foward to the rest of the year at The Dance Factory.

I just recently signed our daughter up for classes at this studio. For lack of a better word, we HATE it. Excuse the abrasive language, but it is the truth. The one person I initially talked to on the phone was very nice. I think her name was Megan. She is the reason why we got excited enough to join. BIGMISTAKE… we should have gone and checked them out first. Please learn from my mistake! When I arrived on the night of the first class, NOONE spoke/acknowledged my daughter and I. They were not busy with recitals or anything and there were 3 women behind the counter just talking amongth themselves. I finally cleared my throat and spoke to them. All they asked was if my daughter had attended the last 6 weeks and told me to pay the $ 75!!! NO explanation of services, no tour of the facility, no excitement, no nothing. I had to ask for a receipt, I had to ask what gear she needed. The instructors did not introduce themselves. When it was time to start class, they just walked up and asked for the little girls to follow them to a room back to only God knows where! NO2-way glass… they do have a plasma, but never turned it on for us to watch our children. I totally blame myself for not running out the door, but when you have a 5yr old who’s heart is set on ballet… how can you explain to her what customer service means??? You can’t. She has 3 more classes and after that we will take our money somewhere else. It seems as though this school caters more to the older, recurring students and that is fine. But, the kids have to start somewhere and why can’t you just be plain nice to anyone who enters your doors!!! I took the liberty to call and talk to the owner and on several occassions I was told that she was not available. Finally, I vented to whoever answered the phone and she said she understood and she would tell the owner to give me a call. I am STILL waiting on that call from Mrs. Debbie Wells!!! Thanks alot for a waste of my time and hard earned money! Your business will NEVER prosper unless you learn a little common courtesy called kindness!

Our second year at dance was spent at the Dance Factory. Everyone there is polite and loves each of the children equally. They take the time to teach each child the value of dance and to respect not only others, but themselves as well. We spent or first year in dance at another studio and left with a bad taste in our mouths, but once we found the dance factory we were delighted our experience. The new building is beautiful with it’s black and pink motif and has a sense of elegance with the crystal chandelier in the foyer. Even the bathrooms do not escape the owners attention to detail. I montage of Marilyn photos adorns every open space. If you are looking for a place to take your child(boy or girl) to learn dance I highly recommend the Dance Factory, you will not regret a moment spent with these wonderful people.
