I’ve read all the reviews that talk about how great the breakfast biscuits are and they are spot on. If you stop by one of the national chains for breakfast instead of coming here, you are missing out. The biscuits are fresh and definitely made from scratch. The breakfast sandwich was, hands down, the best I’ve had. I’ll definitely be back soon to try other menu items. It took me awhile to try them because the line at the drive-thru is always so long in the mornings. Well, the line is long because it’s the best breakfast in town, they do a great job of moving through the line quickly, and its definitely worth the wait!

I finally decided to try this place after hearing people rave about how good this local chain was. I don’t know if was this location in particular, but man is this place over-hyped. This place is «serviceable» at best. This place does not have the best chicken biscuit as I’ve had better at a gas station. From first look, at least at this location, the restaurant has as much appeal and ambiance as an aging gas station bathroom. I hate to be harsh, but it looks like the place was cleaned with a dirty mop. It just seemed grimey and greasy looking. The employees were pleasant folks, however I think they got carried away with their sarcastic banter they engaged in among themselves. The customers in line seemed to be attentive to how it affected their organization of getting orders out correctly and accurately. The price of the food was reasonable and very affordable. The biscuits themselves are just about the only thing this location has going for it. I got a chicken biscuit and a steak biscuit. The chicken was so rubbery and chewy which wasn’t helped by the soggy breading encasing it. No crispiness at all. While slightly better, my steak biscuit seemed to be a chopped cubed steak patty thrown into a biscuit. The only thing that this place has going for it is that it’s cheap, but be prepared to sacrifice taste. Maybe I’ll give a different location a try.

Biscuits. The biscuits, the biscuits oh the biscuits! I’m a Midwestern girl, born and raised, who loves a good deal, fresh food and good biscuits! They are buttery, fluffy and never ending with just the right amount of salt. Add a slice of melty american cheese on top of scrambled egg and you have the best comfort food breakfast you could ever eat on the go! When I get the chance to stop into Martin’s for breakfast, my order is always a large egg and cheese biscuit and small coffee, and the damage is under $ 4. Wow! I love you Martin’s…

Some of the best breakfast biscuits in town. Prepared to order, so be prepared to wait a few minutes but trust me it’s worth it. On Saturday and Sunday the place is very popular. The sausage gravy is fantastic and the breakfast platters are great. The workers are always pleasant and have a smile on their face.

Best biscuits from a restaurant in Cobb. Steak or tenderloin most days, but sausage works just as well. Puts the national fast food chains to shame for breakfast.

Grossest place I have ever set foot in. Needs a health inspection stat. I had heard good things about this place and wanted to check it out. Not such a good idea. Highly rude employees, trash EVERY where, garbage overflowing, tables dirty. When you go to this place you can’t see the dining room right off hand, if I had seen how disgusting it was before ordering I would have walked out immediately. We ordered and it took forever, when we finally got our food, the cashier tossed the receipt directly on top of the food and was floating in the gravy of my gravy biscuit. Needless to say I did not eat it. The service was so bad that another customer who had been waiting in the drive through came inside and started screaming and yelling dirty words about not getting his order yet. I was worried any second he was going to go ballistic on everyone. Can’t understand why anybody gave this place a good review, one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. Will not be back.

This is the story of a biscuit. It doesn’t fly, it’s not a commercial tv icon, it doesn’t even have a name. What it does have is legions of fans, no acres of fans. Drive past any Martin’s on a Saturday morning and you’ll wonder WTH is going on. Cars, long lines of cars, are snaking into Martin’s drive thrus throughout Cobb County. Why? Sausage and egg biscuit. Preferably large. Perfectly scrambled eggs, sausage with just the right amount of seasoning, enveloped by a good olé fashioned fluffy biscuit. No hangover required.

Found myself in Cobb County with a man that knows Cobb like the back of his hand. I had mentioned I’d never been to a martins before, and since we passed two in 15 mins we decided today would be the day. Word of mouth and informed me I needed to try the chicken biscuit. I was there around 2:30 and didn’t think I could get a biscuit so I ordered the fried chicken sandwich. Even though my chicken wasn’t hot it was tasty. When served hot and on a biscuit I could see how it would be better than CFA. Besides being lukewarm the sandwich also had an unexpected smear of mayo. The menu didn’t list this so if you’re a first timer be sure to ask what’s on the sandwiches. Fries were nothing to rave about.

Martin’s Fresh Tastes Best is an old fast food chain based out of Austell. In fact, their corporate office is 5 minutes from my house. They’ve been here since the 60’s. It seems like a local hit, and they seem famous for their biscuits. Even Mark Arum, the radio personality, claimed they have great biscuits. Just like Chick Fil’ A, which also started in Georgia, they put on the Southern charm. The employee I talked to seemed friendly and nice. She did look surprised when we told her we’ve never been to a Martin’s before. So she discussed the menu at length to us. Even though the employees seem pleasant, they are not SUPER friendly like Chick Fil’ A. Chick Fil’ A lays it on thick. The people at Martin’s seem just friendly. I think Martin’s should follow Chick Fil’ A’s model and lay on the Southern charm thicker. Like I mentioned, the biscuits seem like their specialty. They offer a lot of biscuit sandwiches such as sausage, chicken, pork tenderloin, and others. They also have regular sandwiches, hotdogs, and burgers. They offer two sizes for their biscuit sandwiches: small and large. The large is pretty big. Two will fill me up. And they’re cheap. They cost between $ 1-$ 3 each. So it doesn’t seem like a bad deal. I had their chicken and egg biscuit sandwich. Their biscuits are made from scratch. It tasted pretty good. It was nice and fluffy and had a good taste to it. I think it tasted just as good or even better than Chick Fil’ A breakfast biscuits. Except, you can order it anytime, not just in the mornings. Their hotdogs are nothing to write home about. It’s just a hotdog on a bun. The chili had a decent spice to it. But it’s nothing special. It’s tiny and the ingredients looked like they came from the supermarket. I would avoid the hotdogs and just go for the biscuits. Their fries tasted like normal fast-food fries. They had a nice crunch to it. It didn’t seem soggy. It was decent. This place seems like a decent fast food chain. Also since this is a fast food chain with a Southern theme, don’t expect anything healthy from this place. Everything I ate tasted like my life expectancy went down a few years. But if you’re craving some biscuits for dinner, this place looks like the perfect place to go. I give it 3.5 stars.

Yup! Sure held up to their reviews!!! Best biscuit I’ve ever had! Sweet tea was just sweet enough. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Food was served hot and fresh! Bacon was perfect! Cheese grits were amazing! Husband had the steak plate and said it was pretty good. We both got full fast! Oh and the price!!! PERFECT! Good breakfast, great price! Prices for their lunch items seem pretty good too. Homemade onion rings! I think so! ;)

Very quick, very tasty, very fresh, very simple and very inexpensive breakfast. I had two breakfast biscuit sandwiches, one regular size and one large, and paid less than $ 5. The bacon was yummy, the sausage was okay, the fresh eggs were delicious and plentiful, and the biscuits were big and fluffy. I will be back.

I haven’t been here in almost 6 years, so I decided to drop in this past Saturday mornin’. I can remember not being so impressed back in the day(co-worker and I disagreed BIGTIME), so I wanted to see if anything’s changed. I ordered a standard sausage-n-egg biscuit along with a hashbrown. My friend got the same. The Good: It does have a fresh taste to it, as in I don’t think it’s frozen biscuits in a bag, but I don’t know how they make it, really. It’s HOT, obviously just made. The line moves pretty fast and they were friendly. There is no «bad». But I could probably sell a sausage-n-egg biscuit just like this one from home, same taste and everything– maybe better. Bottom line: probably will go back, but order something else.

Martins reminds me of the breakfast places I’ve missed so far in atlanta. Biscuits, country ham, and sweet tea that will rot you teeth only the way good sweet tea can. I had the steak and egg biscuit first which was killer. The cheese isn’t necessary to make it good but is always welcome. My second biscuit was the country ham, which could have used a little more ham. I was just glad to find a local breakfast place that has a decent ham biscuit. It’s cheap, fast, and sometimes all I want on a Saturday morning.
