Pep Boys

Hello went to Pep boys Dec 23, 2015 the manager and crew seems to be nice. But when they looked over my engine, they told me that I needed many services done on my car. And it will be approximately 600.00 dollars for these particular services. I was too angry because to get a tune up done at certain places are much cheaper. And on top of that they included services which made me think that they were out to RIP ME OFF! I went on a site today and read that TIRE PLUS TOTAL CARE have the tune up and all the services combined in a package that could be more affordable than Pep boys. So, I will contact them tomorrow regarding my vehicle. Some of these companies think that women are kind of stupid or dumb, and they always try to think they can sucker them by getting all of their money. But I’m too smart for their games! I what put the icing on the cake is when they told me if I keep driving my car I can cause more damages to it, trying to really scare me! My advice to all women please do not go to Pep boys unless you have a good mechanic or husband or boyfriend that knows about cars. Otherwise, they will try to RIP you off if you go by yourself.

Today was my last experience with any pep boys. have had multiple terrible encounters at multiple pep boys locations but today took the cake. Have been trying to get my tires rotated by them for 3 days. Set an appointment for today last night, show up today to drop my car off and was told it’d be an hour before they could get to my car then another hour or so to rotate the tires… I’m sorry but what is the point of an appointment then? Also had other bad experiences, had them put my air filter cover on halfway when I told them I could do it myself then took 2 hours for an oil change on a Monday at 1… work on your customer service

The most poorly run, low quality work and terrible customer service I have ever seen.
I have been an aircraft mechanic for over 40 years. I have standards on workmanship that must be adhered to or lives and millions of dollars are in jeopardy. There are no quality standards used here at all. The process they use to hire mechanics (if thats what you want to call them) is poor. Perhaps they pay so low that quality mechanics work elsewhere. I have seen just about everything in the car shop world but this place is the worst by far.
I promise you will be served going anywhere else. Anywhere else is better then this place.

GO TO THIS STORE IF YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF! ESPECIALLY SINGLE WOMEN! I went here two days ago to get a simple tire fixed. The clerk took my information and while I waited she came back and said all my tires were rotten because I’ve had them 5 years. Mind you, I brought the car brand new and it’s not five years old. Plus I purchased all new tires in 2012! WTF! I went to their competitor and my car was fixed in 10 minutes for $ 10. I asked were my tires rotten and of course they said no. They even took me to the back and showed me how to tell when I need new tires. The guy said I had a good year left on my tires. I don’t know why this PEPBOYS would say such things but one good guess is to run up my costs. I will never go back to PEPBOYS ever! In this case, one bad apple does spoil the whole bunch!

Great car service and good customer service. I came in yesterday at the last minute when my car was making noise in the back of the car. The problem was only getting worse so I went to closest auto repair I could find, it sucked too because I had my dog with me. I was referred to this location when the other location I went to was short on staff. It was 3:30 on a Monday afternoon so the doggie and I was prepared for a very long wait. To my surprise the guys got me in, within an hour the problem was found and in about a hour and a half the problem was fixed. I will be back to location for my auto repairs, not too soon though.
