Where can I find the connection to buy into 7-Eleven and bringing them to Lexington? Never mind, I’d need lots of money to do that. Until then, I’ll keep blowing my money and traveling the world, visiting cities that have places that I can’t find at home. Congress Avenue is basically the central locale of Austin. So this location is quite central. I was pleasantly surprised to pass this location, do a double take and then head back a few steps. Wine, that was my agenda. I was pleasantly surprised to find wine here in the cooler and it was even priced cheaper than it was at a nearby liquor store. The girl at check out seemed a bit preoccupied in how much longer she had until clock out, but besides her, I was sold on 7-Eleven… I’ve never even had one pf those free slushies that they all talk about either.

A really large 7 – 11, high ceilings. Good amount of foot traffic, lots of downtown office workers coming and going but usually not a long line. About the only convenience type store I can think of on Congress Avenue within a 5 block radius. Every time I go to a 7 – 11 now, I consider purchasing the Slurpee branded summer merch(sunglasses, tanks, hats, etc.). Haven’t pulled the trigger on that yet.

I come here during lunch break sometimes if i’m in need of an energy drink or a snack and this place is convenient and always stocked. They make it easy to go in and out in less than a min if you’re in a rush and the staff is always efficient. Overall they serve the need for convenience very well.

Bright, easy parking on street. One of the nicest employees(evening shift) assisted me in my purchase. Kudos for his excellent customer service.

Enjoyed my visit to this 7-Eleven. The associates were very friendly and helpful. Great looking hot food section. Also, if you need a prepaid card or reload your current card, this is the place.

The convenience is great! I know it is a new store, but it is so very unorganized. Its seems like the employees weren’t trained properly. They are always having register problems. There will be 20 to 30 people in the store and they will only have one register working. When I do finally get to the register, it seems like a broken record with them apologizing for the wait. BTY: The premade Chicken Salad sandwich is good and affordable.

This place still rates 4 stars for convenience, since it’s located just across the street from my office, but the place gets only 1 star for service because the employees are disengaged to say the least. Twice I have had to call out to employees stocking shelves, etc, to come up to the front counter to check me out or serve me up some taquitos. And they are not conversational, either. I totally get what Juan H means in his review from yesterday. I have had far superior service at the much smaller, but more comfy, Ana’s Mart around the corner on 8th Street, so I’ll be going back there soon.

The guy working overnight on Mondays is a douche. I went in to use the restroom and he was quick to say no. I purchased some almonds that cost $ 1.40 and gave him a $ 20; I needed change. And he asks in his snarkiest tone if I have smaller bills. I was holding 6 $ 1 bills and two $ 20s. I tell him, in MY snarkiest tone, «Yeah…but I’m needing change.» Skinny guy dressed all in black. 7 – 11, you better believe THIS lication lost a customer because of this employee.
