Bottom line, Vinnie and his team did excellent work at the price and on the timeline that they promised. I was very happy with their work and with their professionalism. It’s obviously not fun to have to get your vehicle repaired, but they made it as smooth of a process as possible.

I wish i could rate as 5, but there was more than expected delay in finishing the bumper job on my truck. May be parts didn’t arrive and so on. Otherwise they are very good in what they do and deliver service with smile. Hate to go to body shop, but if needed, will come back here.

I legitimately cannot stop saying things about the work they did. It is beautiful, like new. In fact, it looks so good that the rest of my car looks bad in comparison.
First on customer service — it is unbelievable how professional and courteous both Vinnie and the mechanics were. They took the time to listen to me and talk about what needed to be done and what they could do for me. In fact, they originally told me it would take roughly 3 days or more, which was fine but they even took the time to create a workaround such that it only took them 1 day. I picked it up literally the next morning for such a reasonable price.
Secondly on the body work — it’s fucking perfect. It is just like new and the paint job is unbelievable. They even took the time to paint my door which I didn’t even ask for so it’s just above and beyond.
Thirdly on the price — I went to 4 body shops before this. AJ Body Shop charged me less than half of the what the cheapest estimate on my fender repair. It’s ridiculous how good the work looks given how much I paid. It looks like I actually took my car and got it fixed for thousands of dollars.
If you have seen Fast Five and remember Ludacris opening a car shop where people could go to actually get their car fixed without getting ripped off — this is that body shop. I’m legitimately so grateful to them and excited about what they did for me. I would recommend this shop to anyone. I’ve told anyone I know that they should take their car here because I will if I ever need to. Which I won’t. Because they fixed my car perfectly.

Someone hit my car in a parking lot about a month after I got it… It was pretty devastating.
I brought the car in and talked to Vinny. He made me feel really comfortable with leaving my car in his capable hands. He even called the rental car company to come pick me up, and they gave me a discount since he referred me.
After just a few days passed he called me and told me I can come pick up my car. Wow, that was fast. They did a really good job, it looks as good as it did when it was new! He also didn’t charge an arm and a leg like he could have with work this good. It was so much less than I expected it to be.

I was very impressed with Vinnie and I’m glad I took my Land Cruiser to his shop after consulting with 3 other body shops. Vinnie’s estimate was almost half of the other shops and he said that based on the amount of work. The work he did was nothing less that 5-​star and he was very honest and clear from the beginning. He is very quick to answer on by email at anytime of the day. In fact, I was unable to pick up my car on Friday, so Vinnie came by and opened his shop on Sat. and I was able to pick up my truck. My windshield was also cracked when a small rock hit the windshield. Vinnie was able to fix that as well along with the body work and the truck looks like new now. Thanks!!!

Does AJ’s Body Shop Warranty their Work?
Monday July 14^th 2014, I brought my 2009 BMW 328i to AJ’s Body Shop located in Austin Texas to have repairs done to the rear bumper. The estimate for repair to the rear bumper total was $ 638.47. The estimated time to complete this project was 3 to 4 days. I was notified 5 days later that my car was finished.
Saturday July 19^th 2014, I came to AJ’s Body Shop to pick up my car. Upon inspection I was immediately shocked to see the end result of the paint job.
The following are complaints that I have with the finished project:
The paint does not match. It is 2 or 3 shades lighter.
The paint has obvious flaws e.g. «fisheyes» and dirt all through the paint.
Orange Peel throughout paint
Dry area (no clear seal) on front bumper.
Paint drips on rear and front bumper.
Clear coat sagging on front bumper.
The owner of AJ’s Body Shop was not present when I picked up my car. His technician explained that Vinnie Molina instructed him to tell me that if I complained to instruct me to bring the vehicle back next week. This shop is a low-​end body shop. If you are looking for a quality job that is guaranteed, I suggest you go elsewhere. See pictures of paint drips and wrong color paint.

I am sooooooo pleased with the help from the team at aj’s body shop! They worked on my cadillac, and not only does it look great, and was at a reasonable price, but everyone treats you like family! It’s nice to actually find real people that don’t wanna screw you over just to make money! They put love and care into my car, and I couldn’t be happier! I PERSONALLY would not take my cadillac anywhere! They know what there doing!!! It’s great to find down to earth people now a days!

LOVE LOVE LOVE. As a single female, I find that I’m extra sensitive when it comes to dealing with body shops… but this one seriously surpassed all expectations on my end. Talked with me like I’m a human being, did great work, was super fast, very communicative. Seriously, I’d drive across town just to get my car done at this place. WELL worth it!

I had to have my son’s truck towed (yes they offer tow service). Manual was the most helpful and EXTREMELY professional person. He made a very stressful situation much easier to deal with. I must admit I would have never thought a tow truck driver to be so pleasant as he was! He showed up to our appointment exactly when he said he would and delivered the vehicle to the shop we discussed ahead of schedule. I highly recommend AJ’s towing and Body Shop and if I ever need a tow in the future I will use them, no exceptions.

) is quicker than the phone. They’re not afraid to tell you that you don’t need certain work done.
i.e. My AC went out. Two mechanic-​garages advised I replace a broken AC line AND replace the Receiver Dryer: $ 550. One of the mechanics recommended I talk with AJ Body Shop because my radiator and other components were loose. Vinnie said the Receiver Dryer wouldn’t need to be replaced since the AC line had only been broken for six days and didn’t likely have moisture inside it. AJ Body Shop replaced the AC line and secured the radiator and other loose components for less than $ 350!
I also asked if they would replace 1 – 2 motor mounts while the car was there. Vinnie said they could do it if required; but, for one-​off mechanic work– a mechanic would be better choice. The fact that AJ Body Shop didn’t just take my business just to make a few extra bucks (twice) makes me trust them very much!
They completed the job in the time frame I was given too. –AC blows super cold now!

I went to AJ’s a few months ago after my roomie accidentally backed into my car, denting my back bumper and door (on a hatchback, no less). The guys at the body shop are fantastic. The price was reasonable and my car looks perfect. I very highly recommend this place.

I was facing a pretty bleak situation with my Ford Focus back in early November. After the back end was smashed in, causing frame damage, the original adjuster totaled the car, which would have resulted in me being carless, or paying for a new one out of pocket. Luckily, Geico stepped in to reassess, and it finally squeaked by as only a near-​total loss.
Geico then referred me, confidently, to AJ Body Shop, ensuring they would do an excellent job at the most reasonable cost possible. I was still a a bit nervous to hear the final word on the repairs, but Vinnie at AJ assured me the car was fixable within the bounds of the estimate.
Body shops can be alienating, shady places, especially to a non-​expert like me, but Vinnie and the crew were friendly, accommodating, and upfront in the extreme. They gave a window of two weeks for the repairs, ordered me a rental, and I left feeling good about the situation.
I got a couple of pleasant updates by phone while the Focus was being operated on, and then two weeks later, exactly on time and not a minute late — the car was ready for pickup. I was overwhelmed to see it looking sturdy and good as new in the AJ parking lot. It was as though the accident never happened, they did a flawless job!
I’ll most certainly be going back to AJ Body Shop for future car needs. I would in fact say it was one of the best body shop experiences I’ve had since being a car owner. Vinnie and the crew were as personable and trustworthy as one could hope for, and the work on the car speaks for itself — it was perfect! Not to mention they stayed right on schedule and were communicative every step of the way.

These guys are fantastic.
I had been driving around for months with a bent door that leaked air from swiping a pole in a parking lot. My fault, out of pocket expense, and I dreaded the thought of the time and money it would take to get it fixed.
We found this place by accident (pun intended) after dropping off my wife’s car at her favorite mechanic nearby. I said let’s swing in for a quote and my wife did a quick check on Unilocal: 5 stars, stop the car!
They fixed it quickly and did a great job. I couldn’t be happier with their work and how fair they were. Fast, efficient, friendly, honest. I hate to say it, but I can’t wait to use them again!

Very pleased with their quality work and service! I had a bumper with deep scratches that I needed to fix, but didn’t have the time to. Vinnie, the owner, was so accommodating and fixed it up in an hour and I was ready to go. I had a wonderful experience and will definitely be spreading the word!

AJ Body Shop does great work at a fair price.
That’s the simple fact. A landscaper’s lawn mower threw a rock putting a deep dent in my Mini Cooper’s passenger door. Not only did AJ fix the dent — you can’t even tell there was a dent ever there — but he did it at a fair price and had it ready to go in just a few days.
It’s difficult to find a great body shop that you can trust. AJ Body Shop is a rare find that I will use again.

I got quotes from a few other local places, and AJ was so much cheaper. They were the only shop to offer popping out my dents rather than replacing parts. I picked up the car after a few days, and it looked brand new. They were also able to match up my pinstripe perfectly. I paid exactly the amount from the estimate, even paying by credit card. And to top it off they washed my car before I drove away. I dealt with Ernest and he was great. Vinnie was there when I picked it up and he was very nice as well. I highly recommend this body shop.
