I wouldn’t even give this place one star!!! The couple that run this place are extremely rude and very sarcastic. I personally would never recommend this to any of my family members or friends, The only reason we ended up in at AAA storage was their price. Never again will I ever go back!!!

I rented a storage unit from them for over a year, and the couple who runs the place was just wonderful. They let you pay over the phone no charge which was helpful for me. I felt like my things were safe there, and a year later when I got it all out there was no weather, bug, or animal damage to anything. One month I was late on rent and they waived the late fee, saying that everyone gets one«get out of jail free» card for late fees. When I called and said I was ending my lease, they immediately(without me even asking) prorated the rent between my last bill and the few days later when I said I would have it all out by. They are wonderful, helpful people!

I needed a climate controlled 5×10 unit. After explaining that to both Uhaul and Public Storage, they reserved me a unit which, when I showed up to inspect, turned out to NOT be climate controlled.(In Uhaul’s case, the unit they reserved for me actually turned out to be the equivalent of a POD — a portable, unairconditioned box). The other companies only offered units above $ 100 a month. No thanks. When we stumbled upon AAA, it was like a breath of fresh air. We reserved a 5×10 climate controlled unit online for $ 50 a month — less than half the price of many of their rivals. When I showed up, they explained that they actually didn’t have the unit we had reserved(oh no!) but they’d be happy to rent me a larger unit at the same price they’d promised me. Nice! Their front office was very friendly and accomodating, even staying open a bit past their close time to finalize the paperwork. And as an added bonus, if you pay the first two months in advance, the third month is free, and they give you a free lock(and they don’t keep a master key to it). The unit itself is clean and easily accessible — most of their units appear to be drive up and one story, so not much hauling is needed. There is gate code access, a code on the door to the unit, plus a lock on the unit itself. Not much more one can ask for. Apparently they also rent rehearsal spaces to some pretty well known Austin bands too. And who doesn’t want some indie cred with their storage unit?
