Absolute Auto Glass

Headsup … long story!
Mike seems to be the only competent Auto Glass Repair person around. My side vent quarter panel glass assembly was starting to come loose and it was letting air in the vehicle. It was so loud that you couldn’t even hear the radio. The quarter glass actually comes with a trim around it which attaches with clips and adhesive to the frame so i wasn’t sure if a glass repair place could fix it. I took it to my neighborhood Firestone to get some pointers and he said to either call a glass company or Auto body shop. I started with JRD Windshield repair, the guy were really nice but when i sent them pics of the loose quarter glass they said it was the trim and they only work on glass and that I needed to take it to the Dealer. I went into Mitsubishi and they said they wanted to replace the whole quarter glass assemble for over $ 250. I decided to try Klingemann by my house based on a Unilocal search for Auto body repair. First they said they could fix it and to just leave my car there for the weekend. I insisted to the guy to take a look at it first. He comes out and says «Boy i’m glad I looked at it as this needs to be repaired by an Auto Body shop (which they list themselves as on Unilocal) as just the clip needs to be re-​attached. I took it to City Collision and Travis was super nice and he looked at the quarter glass and said that a glass company would need to just re-​seal it with adhesive. I told him i had already tried a glass company and he pulled out his cell and called Absolute Glass, explained the issue and the solution and they said they could fix it. Mike from Absolute wasn’t available until later that day and they do only Mobile repair. I just wanted it done so i drove to Austin Windshields and they said it needs to be fixed by an Auto Body shop. I gave up and decided to just wait for Mike from Absolute. He actually met me at Rudy’s (late lunch) and fixed the trim within 15 mins while i gorged on some fab BBQ. I was ecstatic at finally getting the glass fixed and now i know which Windshield Repair company i will be using in the future :)

These guys are awesome. I called Mike on Wednesday at 3:00 PM and they came to my office at 11:00 on Thursday (next day) and did the install in about 45 minutes. They saved me a bunch of time and were very reasonable on the price. It’s rare to have such good service these day. Highly recommend these guys.

Horrible customer service! Ordered a glass for my vehicle. He said they had to order it so I waited a few days. Came to put my glass in which was suppose to be factory tented and the guy gets my keys and puts an untented glass in my car then comes and tells me he is done, but I will have to take it and have it tented! Yikes that won’t match I said this glass is suppose to come tinted. I asked him to take it out and get the correct glass. This was on Wednesday and he promised to have it overnighted and fix on Thursday. When I called him at the end of the day Thursday he said it didn’t come in. Friday morning I called and he was cussing and acting as all this mix up was my fault. I told him I didn’t need his service!!! Never use this company! I
Plus his price was $ 425 and I called another company today at noon. They are at my house and putting my glass in now for $ 257.00. Wow. What a deal

It has been several months since I used Absolute Auto Glass and my front windshield still looks great.
I checked out reviews for auto glass across the web and emailed several places to get a quote. Some places took awhile or didn’t email me back. Absolute emailed me back with one of the best prices, so we set up a time. They came to my apartment and had my window replaced in a timely manner. I was good to go.
Good response. Great price. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that they’re local.

We needed to replace a rear window in our new 2011 Pilot. Dealer quoted $ 620+, Safelite quoted $ 450, Mike @ Absolute Auto Glass quoted $ 230 and he was the only one who could do it same day. We placed a call, he was at our home within 30 minutes and finished 45 minutes after that. Glass looks great, very polite service.

I emailed Kelly on Tuesday– we scheduled a windshield replacement on Wednesday. The guys came to my place, were 15 minutes early and done in 45 minutes total. Excellent work– very professional. Would highly recommend them!

I wanted to have my windshield replaced and looked at a few reviews on Unilocal.It was hit and misses. On my commute in this morning I noticed Absolute Auto Glass Truck and decided to call.
I called around 10:00am left a message with details.
Mike called me back @ 10:17 he quoted $ 185.00 + Tax and we set a time between 12:00−2:00
Everything happened so fast. All I know is Mike showed up at my office and was done @ 1:38
He gave me specific instructions on the curing of the sealant around the windshield and that was that. Very cool guy, very professional and very fast!
