The building is beautiful, its beautidully lit and super clean — they were always picking up after themselves, and helping each other as much as they can.
Everyone here is so nice and approachable. The students really listen to you and make sure you get exactly what you want! It is definitely worth the trip — you won’t be sorry you did!

Great place with great (future) barber’s! I go there to get a shave of my head and face. Rudy was my barber and unexpectedly, before my facial shave with a straight razor, he gave my a relaxing facial massage. I’m not the massage type, but I was so relaxed I passed out. He did a great job also shaving my head.
It was such a great job that I recommended this place to my friend, AND took the time to write a review.

I have been going to Ron King Academy since it opened. I go in for a shave and a haircut about every 2 – 3 weeks. The students are professional and very friendly. You absolutely cannot beat the price! The facility is very modern & aesthetically appealing, they did a great job designing the school. I don’t like to shave, it’s a waste of time and I’d rather go around with my beard. However, to maintain professionalism in my career, it is important to keep up with my appearance. I get a hot towel on my face and a relaxing 20 minutes to sit back and chill in an amazing reclining chair complete with footstool. I leave with a baby soft face, a fly new haircut and immediately feel 10 times more attractive. Highly recommend this salon!

So I just have to say that I went in here to the barber side for a beard trim on a whim because I couldn’t get in to my normal stylist. I went in with little to no expectations being that they were students. I was absolutely blown away, from when I walked in I was greeted with a warm smile, and a friendly face, I was asked if I had been there before, which I hadn’t so I signed in, and they had me in a chair within 3 – 5 min. They set you up with their more advanced students, but the best part of it all is the manager/​director/​instructor Coach Leonard who personally introduced himself to me, and put my mind at ease. He was there to help the students should they have any questions and to guide them. He was great! My stylist was great, even though I went in for a beard trim, I have returned several times for follow ups, including facials, and haircuts. I always leave happy and I know that they have the best instruction with Coach Leonard leading them with 25 + years of experience and being a Baxter National Educator, he is on point just like all of my experiences there!
Definitely recommend Ron King Academy!

If you don’t know me then you don’t know that my hair is the hardest hair to cut!!!
I have heard amazing things about this school. And how the students are more than qualified to deliver an amazing haircut.
Today I went in for a haircut with Tyler. Did not really feel as if I were in a school the entire experience felt like a normal barbershop. He greeted me had mini consultation asking me what I wanted today. As Tyler began to cut my hair I was a tad bit anxious. Like I said initially my hair is very hard to cut and many people have failed. Licensed professionals have failed. However when Tyler turned me around and placed a mirror in my hands I was blown away. This guy seriously has talent. My fade was perfect no LINE for those who know what that means. And a great haircut/​beard Trim.
What I really enjoyed about my experience at Ron King Academy was that Tyler actually listened to me. He genuinely wanted to give me a good haircut and he asked me all the correct probing questions.
I would recommend anyone to come get their haircut at Ron King Academy. I genuinely feel that any of the students there can deliver and will deliver an amazing experience for you.
They have passion. They are hungry. They are amazing.
