I went back in to take Rusty up on his offer. Initially there was further misunderstanding with the manager assisting me at the time, but after I showed her Rusty’s email and she spoke with another employee, she honored Rusty’s promise and offered the set of clamps to me for $ 19.99 total minus a 40% discount. I really appreciate this shop taking the time to make this right with me.

Beware the pawn business in general, but especially these guys. I wanted a short-​term loan just until payday, using a piece of art valued at $ 3,800 as collateral. They offered me $ 40, so I laughed and left the store. They offered me $ 90 for some gold. I ended up getting $ 169.86 from a refinery across town.
