I got locked out of my car at work. I called and they quoted me $ 30 for the service fee and then $ 25 or more for the unlock depending on the situation. I’ve never had to use a locksmith before so I didn’t know what to expect. The girl they sent me told me 20 minutes and then asked if I had gotten a quote. She said it would be about $ 100. Seemed high to me, but I didn’t really know since I hadn’t had it done before. She called again and said she got pulled over by the cops for having a headlight out and that it would be another 20 – 30 minutes. I’m just glad that I was at work where I had somewhere warm to wait. She got there and unlocked the car quickly and told me she took 20% off for the wait, but it still came out to over a hundred dollars which just seemed like a lot for such a long wait and for a simple unlock. It took her no time once she got there. I think if I had called a few more places I would have gotten a better deal. I was just cold and wanted to go home. Now I know.

Called at 8 am. Very professional guy took my info. Mason showed up at 9:30. Assessed the sitch. Quoted $ 99 total. Jimmied the lock on my 2012 Dodge Charger with minimal damage to the door. Paid by credit card. Done and done. I’ve never locked my keys in the car and had to call someone, so I don’t know how they compare. I hope I don’t ever again, but it will be them if I do.
