Anna’s Linens

Two friendly salesclerks called out «Welcome to Anna’s Linens!» when I walked in the door, and later a clerk on the floor asked if she could help me find anything. This part was great. I also thought there was a good selection of bargain-​priced bathroom items and candles.
The problem came as I was checking out. There were two very long lines — about 20 people altogether. One of the registers wasn’t functioning and 3 clerks were trying to get it fixed (including the person at the one working register). Finally everybody apparently gave up and left one clerk standing at the broken register. No one said to us in that line, «Could you please go to the other register?» We simply didn’t know what was going on. Finally, I asked the clerk, «Is this one going to be up and running, or should we go to the other one?» She looked befuddled and said, «I think they’re going to reset it.»
After nearly 10 minutes of standing there waiting for a «reset,» another clerk opened a third register and had us go to that one. She rang up my 4 candles, I swiped my card, and then she handed the candles to me and said, «We don’t have any bags.» Now, if I’d been parked outside the door with my car, I could indeed have carried them out and thrown them in my front seat. However, I’d taken a bus to the store, and I had over a half-​mile to walk to/​from stops. Nor would the 6×4 inch candles fit in my purse. Most importantly: Why in the world would a store not have any bags?
All in all, I wasted over 15 minutes of time at the final checkout — and wasn’t able to take home what I wanted to buy!

This is the place to look for curtains (regular curtains, kitchen curtains, etc). They have various sizes, especially 95 inch ones even though colors are a little limited for that length. I was looking for navy 95 inch curtains and they only had black. (Boo!!) They have a ton of colors and styles if you are going for 85 inch length or less. The store has a variety of linens such as towels, and sheets as well as some assortments of decorative items for any room. Expect not to find any name brand linens as this is more of a discount store.
Customer service was pretty friendly and tried to find what I was looking for, however they didn’t’ carry what I needed. The store itself was quite organized and clean. I would come back again if I needed some cheap linens.
