Very good service. Helpful team, willing to give input on different lines of product. Even share their experiences with using lines they have tried. I’m so happy to have found them. Made shopping for professional supplies easy and convenient.

Any time I have needed any tools for work I always prefer Armstrong McCall on S. Lamar. Until I bought faulty Jowell Sheers and tried to return them. It was a set of three, chunking sheers, 5.5’s and another limited edition teal pair. I used them for a week and then one of the pairs pulled the hair, and bent hair when it was supposed to be deathly sharp at cutting. Completely unsatisfied with my tools (that I use all day daily) I called and asked about a return and was told if I have my receipt I can return them.
SO today I arrive with faulty sheers and my receipt, I explained to the girl what was going on… Then I was told that they would not exchange them, she excused herself and located the «boss» aka the «owner»
I expected a lady of her mature age to be a lot more graceful. Her approach was near violent and brash. She was very loudly and hostile. I was humiliated everyone was starring at me… she did exchange and them gave me store credit but basically kicked me out of her store. I then made it clear that i still needed sheers and asked to see the identical set to see if they worked or if they were just as defected…
well what do you know those sheers also bent hair instead of cutting them! Low and behold how dare her sale faulty sheers!!! I guess this explains her drastic behavior.
What an insult to the business, but i’m sure someone that has never been behind a chair would never even consider ripping off hair stylists or let alone speak to someone like that! As a Wella colorist I am highly disgusted with this service and I will not be returning back to this location.

Pro — you can get lots of top name hair and beauty products at wholesale prices.
Con — you have to have a cosmetology license to shop here.
Pro — Aquage hair products (at wholesale) — sweet hay-sus…I love Aquage.
Con — the selection of esthetic supply is a bit under-​represented compared to the hair supply. I understand though b/​c there are way more hair stylists/​colorists than estheticians.
Pro — GREAT SERVICE! The girls that work here are awesome. Tom & Kit Randall the owners are fabulous. Tom usually recognizes me, and goes out of his way to come over say «hello» ask how I’m doing and chat for a few minutes (old school good service).
Pro — They have lots of great continuing education classes for license renewal and from top name brands to improve your craft.
Pro — I think the selection at this location is better than most of the others around town.
Pro — AWESOME 1 day special event/​sales. I’ve gotten some serious steals on these special sale days.
