Dr Amis performed surgery on my elbow last week to repair a tendon with a large tear (tennis elbow). From my initial eval to preop to postop there were no surprises. Not with scheduling, not with insurance, not with anything! His office staff is great, the surgical staff the same. Dr Amis took a conservative approach with cortisone injections and physical therapy from the onset. He has a very friendly demeanor and is courteous towards his patients. He does not talk down to patients. He explains everything in detail using terminology us non-​medicos can understand.
