I love this place! Inside of HEB which to some may be a deterrent, but they do a fabulous job. The prices are perfect too. I paid $ 13 for eyebrows + upper lip.

I’ve been back a couple times since my last review and both times my eyebrows have been done to perfection by Kristi! When I went today, I had grown out my eyebrows quite a bit to get them reshaped and Kristi did a great job!

They will not ask what you want done to your brows, they’ll literally start once your ass is seated. Even when you tell them, it doesn’t seem like they’re really listening. I’ve seen two women working here and tried both of them. Both were let downs. I went in with even brows that needed a clean up and left with brows that were no where NEAR even and were oddly shaped. I ended up with one brow shorter than the other, one with a more obvious arch and no symmetry. I like my brows on the medium thick side and even when I told them this, both proceeded to whittle down my brows into sad little lines. My left brow was made so short and I still haven’t been able to grow back the end that she took off. I honestly don’t understand how this place has such high reviews. I thought maybe I needed to try the other woman after the first ruined my brows, shouldn’t have wasted my time. The thinner one is the worse of the two but neither was skilled in my opinion. I have spent WEEKS trying to grow out my brows and undo the damage done by these two. Some of what they took off still hasn’t come back and now I need to find someone who thinks they can fix this mess. It isn’t worth the $ 9. Go pay $ 20 to someone who won’t ruin your brows and force you to spend weeks growing them out so someone else can undo their damage. I would give them no stars if at all possible.

I went here to get my eyebrows threaded today, and I am 100% disappointed. Not only did the woman who did my brows make them completely lopsided, but she totally arched them different. I even showed her a picture prior to her starting to thread them to ensure that she knew exactly what I wanted. I was very upset to see the finished product. Her response: I’ll fix them next time. Unbelievable! She even tried to make me pay full price for her terrible brow job. No way, I paid half price and will never return.

Amazing! I have been getting my eyebrows threaded over 10 years and finally found my favorite place. She did a great job on my eyebrows. She is wonderful. I will be back. I recommend this place for eyebrows threaded !

Located inside the HEB, great customer service, great ladies, every time I go there they both does a really good job, that’s my favorite place to get my eyebrows done.

I just moved to Austin and I was looking for a place to get my eyebrows threaded by an Indian woman. In my experience, Indian women have the best eye /skill set for threading so I will only go to them. No offense to others — just my own preference. The set up is a little bit weird — it is right in front of HEB and pretty open to people shopping but it didn’t really bother me. I explained very firmly that I wanted just a maintenance and not any brow shaping and they complied and I thought did a great job. It was a bit pricier for the location /setup but it wasn’t overly expensive. I would except $ 10 for an eyebrow /upper lip but this was $ 13 plus tip. I went to Radika and would recommend her if you were going to get threaded!

Still growing out my eyebrows after I was given pencil thin eyebrows. I specifically stated I want thick eyebrows. Belatedly going after someone that requested thin eyebrows! Loved the work my first time, second time got another girl who gave me thin eyebrows, third time waited for the first girl who did my eyebrows and asked for thick, and walked out with thin eyebrows again.

I am usually happy with the shape and length of my brows when I leave here. I am not happy with the line(I get it-it’s only $ 9) and the irritation my skin faces afterward. It takes about 5 days for the redness and bumps to go away, and my brows are used to waxing and threading. I suppose they don’t put anything on my skin afterward and it shows. Literally.

From someone else’s review: «they don’t really ask what you want, they just start immediately once you’re seated. Because of this, she went too thin on my brows.» That’s putting it mildly! I’m not a serial 1-star reviewer. But I cried for an hour after I left this place. Shouldn’t they assume that you just want your extra hairs cleaned up, and if you want a whole brow makeover, you’ll ask for one? You can always go back and remove more. You can’t un-remove what you’ve removed. I told her when I sat down that my eyebrows are really splotchy, so all I really care about is getting them dyed. Even though I said that, the girl assumed I wanted ¾ of my eyebrows removed. She showed me the mirror when she was done and I instantly started crying, saying she left me with almost no eyebrows. She said, «What? They look nice.» I said, «No, now I have no eyebrows!» and continued to cry. She said, «They were thin when you sat down.» So that means I want them even thinner? The other girl working saw I was upset and asked me if I wanted them thicker. I said yes, and she gave me a complimentary dye job to try to bring back some semblance of a brow.(Although if there’s no hair there to dye, what good does it do?) You could tell they both felt bad, but then she told me next time to make sure I tell them I want them thick. Yea, no kidding. But saying this seemed like they were telling me it was my fault for not saying«Please don’t remove all my eyebrows,» rather than it being their fault for going way too aggressive on the first pass. They gave me a $ 9 gift certificate for my next visit. I’d rather have not paid at all — you can keep your gift certificate, I’m not coming back. :( JUSTMAKESURE you tell them what you want. Don’t assume they’ll do a nice, subtle, clean-up job. Assume they’re gonna remove all your eyebrows. I say it’s worth paying $ 20 to someone who will take the time to find out what you want than paying $ 9 and taking a risk. I came here because of the high Unilocal rank, but I can’t believe the reviews are as good as they are. I’m very sad :(

After the closing of the Highland Mall, I was lost and had nowhere to go when it came to my eyebrows. I tried a place downtown that was mediocre and more than I was use to paying. I did some Unilocal research and found this place. I though my GPS sent me to the wrong place, but the place is inside of HEB. The services are affordable, unlike one place in Austin that charges over $ 20. The technician did a great job and asked how I liked my eyebrows before she started threading. The place is rather small and I was lucky to be the only one there at that time. I will definitely be back!

My experience here was just mediocre. Not horrible, definitely not great. The good: the price is very reasonable at $ 9.00. The not so good: located inside an HEB in not the best part of town. They’re right by the front door, so everyone just hangs out and stares. They don’t really ask what you want, they just start immediately once you’re seated. Because of this, she went too thin on my brows and they do them rounded which doesn’t give you a crisp shape. In summary I prefer to pay a little more and go to the ladies at Barton Creek mall, hands down.

Another high Unilocal rating that proves to be true. It’s just two girls in the front of HEB doing their thing. I did just a clean up but they had a sheet full of different eyebrow shapes for those trying out their options. I had a fear the girl would take too much brow as she cleaned but she did a perfect job job at keeping my natural shape and thickness. All for only $ 9. I feel this is worth the money than the time I spend trying to pluck the hairs myself. I will be back.

This place is right next to the doors when you enter on the pharmacy side of HEB In fact, I missed it when I entered because it doesn’t really stand out. Which is good because you can then get your threading done in relative privacy. My experience there was really good, had my upper, lip lower lip and chin area threaded and it was done really well. Prices were really reasonable. It’s now my go to place in Austin!

I have never been disappointed with the shape of my eyebrows after visiting these ladies. While I hate the line that you have to put up with, it is so worth it. You cannot beat the price or the great way they work with you to give you the best eyebrow possible. Do not underestimate the power of the brow.

I am extremely picky about my brows. They can’t look too groomed and the natural shape and thickness must be kept. These ladies remember how I like it done and get it right every time.

I found this place through Unilocal and decided to give it a try. I am always looking for a good eyebrow threading place in Austin. It is located in HEB so don’t expect a nice decorative looking salon lol. When you first enter the store, it’s on the left side. It’s open and everyone can see what’s going on so it’s not private. They do have a small section with two seats. I was seated pretty quickly so I didn’t have to wait. It’s only $ 9!!! SOCHEAP! Most places in Austin are pretty expensive. The girl that did my eyebrows took her time and my eyebrows are fabulous. They take cash & credit card. I believe I have found my place for eyebrow threading. FINALLY! Thank you Austin Eyebrow Threading!

They are located inside HEB and they are close to where the cosmetics and magazine area. These ladies work their butts off 7 days a week and they are the only ones working there. Basically they have a small area they call their own shop. There are two chairs and a small corner where it’s hard to walk around. Not for anyone who’s not into small closed areas. Even though, there are one or two chairs inside the area, more likely might be waiting outside looking at the people being threaded. Sometimes you never know when there’s a long line of people waiting. I went there before noon and it wasn’t too bad. I went there in the afternoon and there was a line. Now don’t take my word it’s going to be the same each time. If you want to try them out and don’t mind you are out in the open with screaming children about then this place. I hope one of these days they will get their own store because there needs to be more cheap threading places in Austin. These ladies to a real good job.

Really good job and the prices are ridiculously cheap. My eyebrow threading was $ 8!
