This is a neat little gallery right above the Elephant room. I went to a group show last Friday and was impressed with several of the artists, Megan Vangroll and Eric Porter, to name a few as well as the charm of this laid back gallery. Rumor has it this gallery may be moving to a new location but it was nice to be here and hear the jazz from Elephant room seeping through the ceiling. I hope to back soon.

I love the AFG. From David O’s commitment to the community to guerilla parties that subvert the traditional gallery attitude (all are welcome). The AFG has a style and purpose all its own.

Despite the fact Ohlerking (Oger King) is a John Bolton and AC/​DC-​loving freak, this is quite possibly the most populist art gallery around.
Come as you are. Or don’t come.
A boilermaker of figurative art week after week, you’ll never know what insane/​inane idea you’ll see next.
Good people. Good conversation. Free beer at openings. And heck, yelling at the Oger King is a shitload of fun.
