WOMEN, DONOTEVERGET A CARDIO-ECHOGRAMATTHISHOSPITAL! They make it an excruciating painful experience for women here. They fail to inform you how painful it will be. It is 10xs more painful than a mammogram. It is because of how they do it and then they have men administering this test with brute force, which seems so unnecessary for what is just an ultrasound for Pete’s sake. Not only do they not inform you of how painful it is when you ask for the tech to please back off a second due to pain you, the patient, are completely ignored. I have noticeable bruises on my breast from this procedure. It is truly awful. Have this done some place where they treat patients with respect and respond to their concerns. Plus, this is my second heart-related test with St. David’s. Both times insisted I come half hour early only to sit around for 45 minutes to over an hour before receptionist even signs you in. They are terribly inefficient. And now torture…

These cardiologists work their heart-healthy tushes off. And they are the BEST in town. This is a world class tertiary care center for life-and– death cardiac events: general cardiology, interventional, electrophysiology, heart failure and transplant cardiology– they have and do it all. The staff and docs work diligently to keep people alive and well. Considering the health care arena in Austin and the country, these physicians(kudos Dr Kunjan Bhatt!) do an incredible job, working every day and minute and second, to keep people alive. I wouldn’t entrust my cardiac care to anyone else.

August appointment with Dr. Kessler. Prescribed wearing an event monitor for a month, but then nobody ever called or followed up in any way to discuss the results. I called to inquire, but still nobody followed up. Then their billing office sent multiple bills for the co-pay I paid in the office at the time of the visit. Absolute clown act. Size 20 rubber shoes. Avoid this place if you actually need healthcare.
