Austin Home Test

I used this inspector for a house I was going to purchase. The inspection went fine… until I hired another inspector from another company on a different house (you following?).
The new inspector was awesome… and it’s only then that I realized how much Austin Home Test sucked. They were 50 dollars more then the better inspector and that price didn’t even include a termite inspection. He RACED through our inspection with us… he was talking like 1,000 words a minute. I heard maybe 40% of what he said. He wasn’t very thorough… he didn’t check MANY things that the better inspector checked. Also, Austin Home Test calls Brinks Security on your behalf, and during the inspection they showed up to sell me a security system… now I get calls at home all the time from Brinks.
If you are looking for a home inspector I would call APEX Home Inspection… stay away from this place.
