I went to see Andra at Onsite Acupuncture when I developed tennis elbow from a repetitive motion at work. I am a tree trimmer and the repetitive sawing motion with my handsaw was the original cause of the injury. It was the first time I ever tried acupuncture so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. I was greeted at the front with a very calming atmosphere. There are various teas and herbs at the front as well as water. The entire space was very clean and professional. Andra got me into my room and on the table. She asked me a bunch of questions about my injury and any other pains or ailments I was experiencing. She treated my elbow and knees which had been bothering me for years. She put pins all over me and also a heat lamp and then left me in the room for 20 minutes or so. After about 5 minutes I could really free something happening in my elbow. It literally felt like the injured tendon was slowly unwinding. After several weeks of mid to high level pain I was finally getting some relief! After«cooking» for around 20 minutes with the pins and heat, she had her massage therapist come and massage my arm and shoulder area. Andra really takes a holistic approach to health and helps to narrow down the causes and ways to prevent the injuries in the future. I continued to see Andra every two weeks for around two months to address my elbow, old knee injuries and to try to work on my gerd(indigestion) issue. My elbow is all healed up now and knees are feeling much better. I would not hesitate so get accupunture with Andra at Austin Onsite again or recommend a friend or family member. Thanks Andra for getting me back to doing what I love and back in the trees!
