Austin Tool

I was referred to this business for warranty work on a Milwaukee drill. The drill was dropped off 2 weeks ago. The guy working the counter said the turnaround time was 1 week but could take 2 weeks. I called them today to check on the status of the drill and the guy who took my phone call was incredibly rude. He asked for my ticket number and I told him unfortunately I didn’t have it with me. His reply was an audible sigh. After searching for my info he said that warranty work hadn’t been started yet. So I asked if he could provide me an ETA for the repair and he replied «what does it matter, it’s free to you». This guy apparently doesn’t realize that these tools are how people make their money. If I need any tools or repair work in the future I will go somewhere else.

THE BEST PLACE IN AUSTIN TO GET TOOLS! No place comes close to the prices and inventory they have. The staff could smile every now and again though.
