These incompetent fools were driving down 290 today, had not secured the equipment in the bed of their truck, and a wheelbarrow came flying out of it, which I narrowly avoided.
Nice. This crazy dude has now posted my phone number, responded to all of the many negative reviews, and has called me no less than 24 times in three days.

I’m sad to have to write a negative review for this company. From what I can tell, the work they did on our trees was excellent. The poor rating is for the following reasons:
— They started the work before I agreed to the day. They actually showed up and did work while we were out of town, despite my request that they wait till we returned.
— They started the work before I signed a proposal. I had requested an updated proposal based on additional services requested and had not received it when the work was suddenly begun. As such, we had to clarify the pricing after the work was complete.
— During the process of clarifying the pricing, Pat was terse and accusatory and pestered me for payment.
I’ve been astounded by his poor customer service. This is such a shame, because it appears he is incredibly knowledgeable about trees. I recommend he gets someone else to interact with customers so that he doesn’t lose them. My partner and I were looking forward to a long relationship with him, and we would have referred him to our property-​owning friends, but we simply cannot accept such rude treatment.

Same experience as previous person. I called to talk about a tree and I began speaking with Pat. When he told me about the $ 50 charge for a quote, I said I was going to pass but if I change my mind, I would definitely call him back. He asked me a question and as I was answering him, he hung up on me. I believe I have the right to turn down his business and not be treated in such a way.

I’ve been searching for a while for someone to add a brace to my tree. I saw that Austin Tree Specialists had a lot experience in this area.
My experience was a disaster. He said the only solution was to cut off the limbs of my 500 yr old historic Austin tree and kill all the docile bees that have been living in the tree 10+ years. He refused to listen to my concerns and charged me more than his $ 50 quote to even talk to me foe 15m.
Since then I found that no other tree specialist charges to give a quote and a qualified company provided a real solution and though this company did not belong in this industry.
