I am a stickler about attention to detail and quality service, which is the reason I have been a customer of Avery Ranch day spa for many years. I call for an appt. and never have to wait nor am I forced to add additional service. I have been a customer of my nail tech for at least 8 years, and followed her because of the quality work she delivers continuously. I have not experienced any time where my polish chipped or peeled, my pedicures last for minimum of 3 weeks. I am always treated with respect.

My daughter of 16 and I went in and we were seen immediately. We ordered the same treatment for both of us for nails and feet. My manicure and pedicure turned out beautifully. I was treated like royalty but they switched my daughter around four times to different chairs and three different people. She even ended up sitting outside in the waiting room for 30 minutes while my treatment was still going on and she finished the same time I did. They even forgot part of her treatment at one point until I mentioned it. Overall we probably won’t return, at least not with my daughter. They charge the same for her as they did for me. Not kid friendly.

Yes! Yes! Yes! I’m definitely a fan. I desperately needed a pedicure and couldn’t make it to my regular place, so I stopped in here based on a friend’s recommendation. Don’t focus too much on the name because it’s not as swanky as Lake Austin Day Spa or something around those lines; however, it was nice, clean, and relaxing. I received great customer service from the time that I entered their doors to the time that I left. Ask for Vicky if you go, because she did a great job and she was quite pleasant. She helped me select the perfect color that went with my skin tone and did a great job overall on the pedicure. Can you say«nailed it»? No pun intended.

Where to begin? First off, even though it appears from the reviews this business has been around for a while, the whole place looks like they not only set up shop just last night, but are ready to take off(with their makeshift equipment) at a moment’s notice. All the manicure stations have wheels and the rest of the stuff(aside from the pedicure chairs) looks as if it could be in a moving truck in a jiffy. There are minimal decorations on walls, scratches and smudges on walls, and the overall feel is not welcoming. More like a temp place. For a salon that has been there for«a while,» it is odd. Second off, I am not a newbie when it comes to pedicures, and in all my years of getting them, I have never had a nail tech make me Unilocal with pain. The girl working on my nails was brutal. Tearing cuticles out like I was a mannequin with no nerve endings. On the positive, no blood was drawn, but pain while getting a pampering is not my thing. Third off, the same tech filed my thumb nail so thin, it is now cracked on the side. I cannot cut it off and smooth it because the location of the crack is right where the nail is still attached to the skin. Not cool. Just looking at the«titles» of the stars on the rating, I want to change ARDS’s rating to a «Eek! Methinks not» one star, but I realize my experience with one tech does not constitute that all of them are just as brutal. However, the overall feeling from the visit(and the memory of discomfort from the tech’s tender ministrations of my feet for days afterward) will make me steer clear of this particular establishment.

I would highly recommend! They are quite clean and pay attention to detail. Their prices are a few bucks more than what you can find elsewhere, but worth it to have a mani/pedi that you know will be good and beautiful when you walk out. They always treat the cuticles nicely and make sure there is no polish on them — especially with the gel polish. AND they have the biggest selection of gel colors. I think they carry OPI, Gelish, and CND. I am an infrequent regular there and I see a number of familiar faces, so they must be doing something right to keep us all coming back! ;)

I’ve been going to Avery Ranch Day Spa for quite a while — I mean, YEARS! Imagine my joy when I figured out I could be first to review! This place is really clean, and its stayed that way for no joke, four or five years. They’ve taken great care of their space, and have largely had the same staff throughout this time. The staff will get to know you, and remember small details about you. Example, I went there this weekend for the first time after spending two years in North Carolina, and the main lady there said, «HEY! You’re back!!» She remembered me, and I loved it. They do a great job with pedi’s, and they do shellac as well. Some techs are a little better than others, but you see that anywhere. The best part is, they do let one or two of the ladies there do eyebrow waxes, so you won’t get just anyone touching your brows. Even though I live a good 10 miles from here, I’ll go out of my way to come out and get my nails done here! I mean, it helps that my BFF lives like two miles from there and she comes with, but even so — I’d probably stop by once in a while anyways.

It’s kind of your standard«Asian» run nail salon but the people there are always friendly and do a great job. They have a steady stream of business but always have room for walk-ins. I go there once every couple of months for pedicures. I definitely recommend upgrading to the«Deluxe Pedicure». It’s absolutely worth the extra $ 10! They also do a great job at «nail art» where they’ll decorate you painted toes with a flower and a tiny bit of glitter.
