Battery Geek

Initially when buying their external 16 volt battery I had some issues with it, in terms of how long it lasted, the shoddy test button, etc, and was told, more or less, «you have to live with that.» I kept the battery because it was too late to return it and it was better than no new battery. Now that the battery is older and no longer works, I’ve asked if it can be refurbished with new cells (as it appears that’s all it needs and I’d hate to create landfill when not necessary). No reply at all. I asked again. No reply at all. Their website is still up, so they’re still in business. This time I will take my business to Batteries Plus or some where customer service and/​or refurbishing /​recycling are valued.

I purchased a lithium ion battery for my iPod. When fully charged this will play over 20 hours of video. A must with noise canceling headphones for long trips by air. My 5G, 30 MB iPod will only last about 2.5 hours without being recharged this is a great accessory.
I’ll give this 4 instead of 5 stars because they offered me a free leather carrying case which I had to remind them to ship, but I eventually got it after they were out of stock. Battery doesn’t retain power for more than 3 days so charge fully before using.
