Beautiful design shop in Westlake. I stop in regularly as the inventory is always changing. Great place to buy just that perfect something to freshen up your room or the perfect gift. The staff is knowledgable and friendly and the owner is a very talented designer. Also best place in Austin to buy your holiday wreaths.

This place is the WORST if you need any kind of service at all. I’ve been in three times hoping to have someone assist me in finding a nice fabric for pillows, and have accomplished nothing other than wasting a huge amount of time.
The first two times, I came on a Saturday and after not being able to help me the second time, they let me know that the people who are knowledgable about the pillow fabric selections don’t work weekends.
So the next time, I called and tried to make an appointment with their interior designer to be sure I wouldn’t be wasting my time again. The woman I spoke to on the phone said that their interior designer was extremely busy and that she could help me herself if I let her know the day and time I’d be coming in. I described what I was looking for and gave her the name of a particular fabric I’d found online that I wanted to see in person. She said they actually had just gotten two pillows made in that fabric and had them in store.
The next day, I headed to the store for my appointment. Upon arrival I was told that the interior designer had just taken BOTH of the pillows I’d asked to look at as well as everything else in the color palette I was looking for to a clients house just 30 minutes earlier. Really? WTF did I make an appointment and take off work early for??? So rude and disrespectful of people’s time.
I asked if she could show me similar fabrics in the giant room of swatch books and baskets and she basically set one basket of crumpled, disorganized fabric scraps in front of me and then went out to help a couple of walk-​ins that had arrived. I rummaged through the basket of fabric scraps and there was nothing that even remotely resembled what I was looking for. At that point, I figured I’d cut my losses and write a Unilocal review so others don’t have to deal with the same frustration.
If you’re looking for fabric/​pillows/​upholstery, go to Spruce… they’re vastly more knowledgeable, organized, efficient and helpful.
Bay Hill Design — I honestly don’t know how the store has managed to stay in business. Get it together.
