If you’re about to do the East Austin Studio Tour, you’re a nut (and my name is spelled «n» as in «nut») if you don’t hit this space.
Besides the fact Sharon Kyle-Kuhn is probably, from what I’ve seen, the best encaustic (older than all forms of painting) artist in all Texas, she’s also the best hostess.
Her space never has anything but the best of art the city to offer: I’m not talking you’re usual crap; I’m talking actually art of genuine interest.
And her openings usually include homemade food and beverage. Hostess with the mostesst!
