Beau Geste At Salon Muse

I am new to Austin and went to Alana’s salon per friend’s recommendation. I have to say I will not be going anywhere else to get my hair done. My hair is short, I am trying to grow it out. Right away Alana had suggestions on how to style it so it looks good during the dreadful grow out period. I have been to many salons and never had my highlights done right, I always felt rushed and stylists would tell me my hair is hard to «pull the color through» (it would be always yellow). Alana did amazing job. She took her time and I truly left feeling amazing. She is also so down to earth and makes you feel very comfortable (and does a great head massage while washing your hair). If I could give her more starts I would.

I have been going to Alana for almost 2 years now and I only live in Austin for 3. She is a phenomenal stylist… amazing with color, highlights/​low-​lights and is a wiz with a scissor. I just went to her this week and had her cut over 8 inches off my hair (which I will be donating). Now THAT is trust! … Never to be disappointed, I LOVE my new hair! I was thinking today that I may have never loved a haircut more than this one. It’s 1 of the reasons you can be sure that I will keep coming back.
Now on to the 2^nd (and perhaps equally important)… Alana is — for real — one of the sweetest people I have ever met. I actually look forward to sitting in her chair for 1 — 2 hours and catching up. I don’t know if in my 42 years, I can say that about another hair stylist. She is real… she is honest… she is a positive and uplifting person. After her mad hair skills, I think she might second as an awesome therapist.
I cannot recommend her enough. She is about as awesome as you can get.

I lucked into meeting Alana through a wedding party hair styling for one of my best friends big day. She changed my life and the life of my hair… May sound silly but it’s true. She has been styling my hair ever since and I wouldn’t change that for the world. She listens to your hair wishes and works with it to make it your best asset! Don’t pass up the opportunity to look and feel your best!
