Rude staff they do not know what they are doing. Not at all profe$$ional. I do not recommend.

Dr. Zamora is caring and very intelligent and observant. Her office is nearby and convenient for us. I had to get used to the walk in and wait (non) scheduling. But it works surprisingly well.
They would have 5 stars but for one experience. While one hopes for an efficient staff, some of employees are so intent on efficiency they forget their bedside manner. One visit suddenly i found myself being checked for something that required disrobing – which I hadn’t expected or done in quite awhile at a clinic.
Not generally being skittish about such things, I was surprised to find myself nearly in tears when one nurse/​aid said «well do you want that test or not?» in a rather abrupt and demanding manner. Instead of reassuring me, the staff seemed intolerant of my reticence which actually made me feel even less safe. It was a bad experience that should not have gone south at all – if someone had indicated a little caring or reassurance.
We will continue going to Dr. Zamora and will update the review at a later date. But meanwhile the staff here could really take a lesson from St. David’s personnel who are amazingly sensitive and kind as well.

I was new to Austin and wanted to get some work done quickly. They had walk in appointments, so I went as soon as they opened up. She took my insurance, which was nice. She helped me figure out a problem I have had for awhile that 5 other doctors couldn’t figure out. She was quick, but very knowledgable. I would highly recommend her!

Great doctor, Quick visit. Many people go here so make sure you get there early! Depending on what time you get there is when you’ll be seen it may take a little while though. Overall a great place, Will continue to come here for years to come!

I woke up with a sore throat and yucky mucus-​filled eyes, so I decided to hit up a doctor. I’m not from around here, so I don’t have a regular doc. I checked my insurance providers list (though they don’t cover anything out of state, so it hardly matters, it was just a convenient place to get a searchable and filterable list of doctors). Dr. Zamora was the closest office that was on a bike route, so I called over, and found they don’t do appointments, walk-​ins only. No problem.
Rode over, walked in, and saw the doctor in under 30 minutes. Staff was efficient. Dr. Zamora was quick, thorough, and answered all my questions, and had me out of there in a few minutes with prescription in hand and a slightly sore upper arm from the antibiotic shot (strep throat, which I haven’t had since I was a kid). I overheard a couple of patients paying their bill in cash, and the prices were very reasonable; though that may be going through my California price index… my last check up and blood work in N. California cost about $ 400. I have insurance, though it isn’t going to cover anything, so I won’t know what I paid for my visit until I get the bill in a few days.
Overall, no complaints. It’s not a fancy office, but it’s a good doctor with lots of experience, which is far more important, to me.
Update: I ended up going back 12 days later, with seemingly the same sore throat. I saw Dr. Ruiz, who was also friendly and helpful and answered all my questions. I got a Z-​pack which knocked out the sore throat quickly. The doctor also did some lab work, which is what led to me knocking off a star. I had to call to find out the results, and wasn’t told I needed to do so. And, one of the tests took much longer than expected which kinda defeats the purpose of the lab work, since it was to determine the appropriate treatment. No benefit to knowing the right treatment once the illness is already gone. If I ever need a Dr. again while I’m in Austin, I’ll go back, as it’s very convenient, and I like the doctors, but I’m a little less enthusiastic about the staff.

They’re walk in, so no appointments. Pay up front and you get seen. Pretty easy and low key.
In and out within 40 minutes.
