Great fried chicken and great prices. They have the best apple pie in the universe.

BBQ fast food. Taco Cabana is to Tex-Mex as Bill Miller’s is to BBQ. It’s not the best, but it’s pretty darn good! The brisket is delicious! I also love their fresh fried chicken. The staff here is pretty great. They really showcase Texas hospitality. They’re always sweet and friendly. I feel comfortable here. Their barbecue sauce is warm and definitely delicious. Based on quality, service, and affordability, I give Bill Miller five stars. I love coming here. Try them for breakfast! They also have breakfast tacos!

There are few places that deserve one star, but this is truly one of them. I have attempted to eat here on four separate occasions, all bad. Today, I entered the restaurant with only one customer in front of me, an employee, who talked to the cashier for ten minutes while I stood there. Two managers were that directly behind her said nothing as I patiently waited, listening to the girls discuss one of their new phones. I nevergot the chance to order, because I had to leave or be late for work. NEVERTRYTOEATHERE! This is the final straw. If I were the owner, three people would be fired today.

Thank you Bill Miller BBQ for the awesome meal for our office party. I was so worried about quantity, quality, etc. because I had never had their Christmas dinner. The large party pack with sliced turkey, gravy, dressing, green beans, tea, pies and rolls is wonderful. They even give you bags of ice And all the paper goods. We had plenty of food, and even left overs. I am thinking this is the way to go instead of all the work if the results are this good. The meat was flavorful and juicy. The sliced turkey breast has a peppery dry rub. The dressing and gravy was great. I am picky about dressing and didn’t expect that it would be so good. It’s not too rich, and the seasoning is just right. The tea was fresh brewed. People favorably commented on all of it. I would pick them for our office party again! I did not hear one complaint, other than people said they ate too much. I am going on and on, but when you are responsible for planning and delivering a good party meal, it is a relief when it is this successful!!!

I got the sausage and brisket plate with beans, coleslaw, and potato salad. The drive thru lady was quite cheerful which was nice. Unfortunately, about the food *sigh* Meh is about right. The meats were ok as well as the coleslaw and potato salad. The beans were the nastiest things I’ve tasted. No flavor Whatsoever. But 1 out of 5 isn’t bad. It’s more than likely will not be going too often.

Emilio at this Bill Miller saved the day! After calling several other locations and being rudely hung up on, I called the last one on the list and it was far. Emilio was polite and even tho the store was closed placed my order for a turkey meal for Thanksgiving. It was last minute and he really came through. I will be sure not to procrastinate next year. I just picked up the food and it looks great. I highly recommend this location. The customer service is well worth the drive!

The people who work the evening shift are consistently rude and unprepared. Twice I’ve come around 8 o’clock and they’ve been out of basic items such as french fries and rice. The food is always mildly warm. And service is terrible. I moved here a year ago from San Antonio and have always enjoyed this bbq chain. I have to say I’m very disappointed with this location.

How do you fuck up bbq? Just ask bill miller. This was awful and a waste of time and money. The food had no flavor. The only plus is that they have a drive thru which was convenient.

Mediocre BBQ at best. We went here on Labor Day by default because everywhere else around was closed. The restaurant is outdated. They had a drive through, so I guess if you were in a hurry to eat BBQ and didn’t care what it tastes like, this place would be a great fit. The brisket was like eating drywall. The chicken had too much liquid smoke. The sauce was akin to ketchup. And the rest of the sides sort of just fell at the waste side. The staff were not the friendliness. Sweet tea was good.

I totally agree with Steve D. Bad bbq, bad service & poorly managed. I sat in drive through line for about 15min, the once I get to window and pay, I see my order being made by a girl with no gloves on. I then look around the kitchen and see that NOONE has gloves on. This is unacceptable, and gross! I know it is part of the health department regulations, just don’t know why it is being overlooked. I will not be back to this location & will b telling everyone I know about this experience as well

The fried chicken was good. There was a 15 minute wait for white meat so we had the dark meat. It was good, the crust is very good. The sweet tea is good. I didn’t see the spicy BBQ sauce anymore. My previous experiences were better but this was still good.

Love Bill Miller’s but this location in specific was an aweful experience. Cold meat, and flavorless sides. Not to mention the incompetent staff they have, who cannot to seem to get your order right after repeating and correcting them in what you want 5 times!!! Spoke with the general manager, so yes, I am expecting that free meal next time I come as a compensation.

Bad BBQ, bad service, poorly managed. A few other things on the menu are good, not great. Listen, if you want good bar-b-que, take your foot off the brake and hammer down on the accelerator, because you’re gonna want to drive past this place and go to any one of the other BBQ places in Austin.

Wow — amazingly bad. Bbq sauce tastes like ketchup. Staff more interested in goofing around than providing service. Food was just so bad. Just wow.

I’ve been eating a Bill Miller’s for a long time. I have say that I prefer their breakfast over their BBQ. Saying that, I think they have one of the best assembly line breakfast tacos in town. Their homemade flour tortillas are great. Their ingredients are great. And their salsa is amazing! They also have great sweet tea and have Big Red. I will also add their customer service is great also. They replaced a messed up order without any complaints and the general manager even gave me a call to apologize. Now the not so great part… their price. Their prices have increased significantly in the past few years. I used to to get a 3 ingredient taco for $ 1.99. Now I pay close to $ 3.00 for my sausage, potato, and egg tacos. But they are worth it, if you can swing the price.

Texas has 5 different kinds of BBQs.(In my small world that is very short-lived, not much traveled) First! There is franklins… No one ever goes because they hear that theres almost an 3 – 100 hour wait. And you die from waiting in starvation sometimes. But since no ones ever been, it remains as number one mysterious-must be-best BBQ in The state of Texas! Maybe even in this entire whole wide world…(I wish to try it one day) Second! There is… Salt Lick. Salt Lick has the best BBQ known to man kind and you can also kill yourself from eating too much. First time i went there, i pooped my pants on the way back home in the car. Then we had to stop at wal-mart because my family wanted me to change my pants. Its a long story. Anyways, thats power of salt lick. Three! There’s ruby’s… And im kind of getting tired of writing… But ruby’s okay. It’s just okay… I do like sauce and their staff shoutings… Four! Theres that one bbq place… Its like super nicely decorated and they have decent bbq and theres a lake and there are turtles… And you feel like your at someones lakehouse… So theres that… Then last and most importantly! There is bill millers… They gave me an extra piece of chicken in my 3pc ck. basket deal during a drive thru sometime last week… And that made me very happy… And thats why you get a five star… Chicken was just okay…

Cheap beef, iced tea rules the day. There was a hair in my pie. I ate the hair pie anyway because it was coconut cream pie. I loved the cream pie best. Im kidding about the hair. Seriously its really good

I just wrote a whole paragrah and it got deleted. I wasted enought time. Bottom line I ordered take out and I was robbed of my brisket $ 40 worth. Then I get email which he is calling me a liar. Stay away and check your orders, very dishonest business. Original reply. I would like to take care of the problem but as I mentioned in the last email, I could not verify your order. I need to know what store your order came from so that I can try to find the $ 75 order in the computer journal so that I can resolve this issue. Had you simply called the store when the problem occurred, the Manager would have been able to fix it for you on-the-spot, even bringing the missing items to you if that would have fixed the problem. Since you did not let us know about it until the next day, I am trying to take care of it, but need to verify the order first. Sincerely, Paul Shaner Director of Operations Austin Dont trust him!
