Dr. Bockman was not helpful.(and this was not the first bad experience with him) I went in with concerns having to do with anxiety and he treated me as if I were a drug addict. I live alone in Austin, with no family close by to turn to, hoping my doctor at least would steer my in the right direction. No. He asked me about my history with anxiety with sarcasm as to why I am just now seeking help. Also, how much of a need I had to take pills(Xanax) He literally asked me «What do you need me to do?» My eyes filled with tears of frustration and he made no acknowledgment of my frustration/sadness through out the rest of my office visit. He made it very awkward and he is supposed to be there to help patients and suggest different ways of helping. FYI, I waited so long to go see him because I am not made of money like most people and knew there would be a co-pay for the office visit, so a waste of my time and money. I gave him the benefit of the doubt from the last bad office visit with him, he basically had his hand on the door knob the entire time he was in the office with me, Will never go back to him AGAIN!

Excellent Doctor and great bed-side manner. He is easy to talk to no matter the subject. I’ve had several doctors since I’ve been in austin for 15+ years and he is superb.

I was sick, and had been for a few weeks. I was recommended to Dr Bockman by a friend of mine, and he got me fixed up right fast. 1 week of antibiotics to take out an infection and some syrup to help with the painful cough that was associated. Direct and to the point, just the way I want a doctor to be.
