CTM is always a hit! The mango martini has ice but it was strong! I highly recommend!

I really enjoyed the food here. Everything we ordered was delicious and just the right amount of spicy hot. My husband claimed for years that he doesn’t like Indian food, but I convinced him to try again and he’s quite happy he did. I agree that the service can be awkward(language, perhaps?), and slow, but hey, relax. What’s the rush ;) it’s close to home do it’s convenient, and we will surely go again. We’ve been twice thus far.

I think it is a overrated place. i am an indian, I know indian food all my life. this place is not upto mark and above all their service is not that good. this was my second visit and I was really disappointed. First of all I found a foil paper in one of my appetizer and also their lunch buffet is not satisfactory enough for the price. the serve only veg rice which is not even properly done. items are really not good enough, nothing special. Secondly I took chicken Tikka masala, but when I was gonna eat it, I found only paneer in there. when I asked there manager about it, he told me that was a fusion question is if it is a fusion of paneer and chicken?(Really!!!)then why they didn’t mention that on name card!!! Lastly serving was really bad. they didn’t even come to refill our glass. they were roaming around and gossiping with their friends. all the tables were dirty, they didn’t even care to clean the table. Not going back for sure.

Food is fantastic but in house service is awful. Super slow to wait on you but the taste of the food out weighs the bad service.

This restaurant might be the best Indian restaurant with an amazing buffet as well in town. If it’s not, it’s close. If you enjoy Indian cuisine, this place is a spot you need to check out.

I’m a big fan of Indian food and I can say Bombay Bistro’s buffet is one of my favorites. The buffet is from 11:00 am — 2:00 pm for brunch so don’t miss out on this. Bombay Bistro has some excellent dinner dishes but if you want a little bit of everything the brunch buffet is the way to go. My favorite selections from the buffet are the Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb curry, Basmati rice, Saag Paneer, the Vegetable Pakora, and definitely the Naan! All the food here is delicious, fresh, and warm(they have heaters under the containers) upon arrival. The food here is abundant in quantity as well as quality(especially for buffet food). They do a good job at constantly baking more naan since it’s such a hot commodity. he dessert here is also pretty good, especially on the weekends. They usually have mango pudding and tapioca pudding on Saturday. The service here is always top notch and the servers are always really friendly. I would recommend Bombay Bistro to anyone who is craving Indian and doesn’t want to limit their options. Tip: Don’t forget to check-in if you go here. You get a free Samosa!!!

There are few«bad» Indian buffets that I’ve been to, in stark contrast to all the terrible Chinese ones out there. For some reason, Indian buffets are almost always very tasty. I also like Indian buffets in particular because I can’t ever settle down on just one dish and can’t remember the names of the ones I like when it does come time to order. What to do? Hit places like Bombay Bistro and get something of everything. All the dishes are tasty and replenished frequently. The good thing is that they’re busy during lunch so the food doesn’t sit around and get stale. Same thing with the naan, which is usually right out of the tandor and nice and hot.

Best Indian buffet we’ve tried in a few years, I tried everything and loved all of it, the only average thing on it was the nan, but any time you make it ahead… doesn’t hold up. The murgh or chicken tika masala, sag paneer, tandoor chicken and even the chicken wings… were very tasty. We’ll definitely come back for more of these goodies. The mutton was amazing, tender and full of flavor…

The service is awkward here. I think it’s mostly s language barrier. But the food here is stupid good. The way they make the tikka masala and the vindaloo, it’s very fresh tasting and not overpowering the meats. I have never had indian that had such a fresh clean taste that you could clearly each spice and the purpose of what they were going for. The garlic naan was fluffy on top and crispy of the bottom, perfection. Heaven. They did boot charge us for the Naan nor did they charge us for the bowl of peas we asked for. The chai was fantastic. Definitely will be coming back to try more!!! Parking and easy to get to. Thank you for fellow Unilocalers recommending this place!!!

Definitely a great Indian buffet! There was a good variety(North and South Indian food) and I was impressed that they had Chaat as part of the buffet which was something you don’t normally see. I was also happy that the food in the buffet was good quality and was also not too spicy. I managed to fill myself up incredibly quickly though and didn’t get to sample everything. The only thing I remember not loving was the gazar(carrot) halwa which just wasn’t as good as my mom’s. I love going to Indian buffets in general because they give you so much more value than ordering a single Indian dish. And in this case, at ~$ 12 person I think, it was definitely worth it. I don’t know when the next time is I’ll be back since I felt grossly full after(my own fault I’m sure haha) but I would come back!

I hit this place up for the lunch buffet and enjoyed it. It’s not the best Indian buffet ever and it’s certainly not the best in town, but it’s probably the best you’re going to get when you’re in this very white area of town. The buffet price was $ 10 during the week and I thought it was a steal at first. The spread was always full and contained around ten dishes. Everything tastes like a $ 10 Indian buffet should, but I’m really going to question the quality of food that’s being served. I’ve never had a problem with Indian cuisine, but around 30 minutes after finishing my meal, I began to have sharp stomach pains. There might be an issue with food prep and storage here. I wouldn’t advise coming here at all even though the lunch price is tempting. Just head down south for some better places when you can.

I’ve been here several times and the food has always been excellent and the customer service spectacular! I’ve ordered several items off the menu and from my experience I can’t imagine you could go wrong with anything. You can truly taste the love that is cooked into the food here. Since I have such a warm spot in my heart for Bombay Bistro I decided that was the atmosphere in which I wanted to spend my birthday dinner recently. Boy am I glad I decided on that! You know sometimes you go out and your evening can be quickly spoiled by poor service? Well I can nearly guarantee that won’t happen here. I literally feel like I’m treated as family here. Ravi(the manager I believe) checked in on us after we placed our order and upon discovering it was my birthday he hooked up a hell of a deal. I was so humbled. Seriously, you can’t go wrong here. This place knows what they’re doing on all fronts.

I have been here before for their lunch buffet, which is pretty good. Tonight we decided to try their dinner since my coworker is convinced that they beat Saffron when it comes to taste and quantity of food. We started off with a «Yelp Samosa», which is one Samosa instead of two(not complaining cause free is free, right?). It was perfectly crispy on the outside and the filling had just the right amount of spice. For our entrees, I chose the Lamb Roganjosh and my honey got the Aloo Gobi. We also got the garlic naan, which was pretty good. They definitely give a lot of food for your money, which can be a good or bad thing depending on your waistline goals. The service was okay; our hostess was very attentive, but our drinks remained unfilled for most of the meal. If I would complain about something, it would be that. Overall, I think their strong point is their buffet, which is reasonably priced and probably the best in town. You won’t be disappointed for dinner, but you won’t be wowed either.

Hands down, best bindhi masala I’ve had since I was in Long Beach 4 years ago. It’s taken that long to find this one dish made the way I had it back then, which was down right delicious. The chicken tikka masala that my husband ordered was also delicious. The only reason they lost a star is because the service lacked some luster, some care, some smiles, which makes a good bit of difference for me when visiting a food establishment, or any establishment at that. If this one area is improved, I’d easily give this place 5 stars. Until then, I can rely on some kick ass bindhi masala for dinner whenever we need to visit The Joint next door.

We were starving and I was asking to pick a place to eat so I Unilocal’d it and this place came up. This place had a very nice selection of items, all piping hot! We came right at a good time when it was quite busy so food was being replaced and cooked as fast as it was eaten. Their creamy vegetable soup was so delicious, their heat index level on a lot of items was quite high for my taste as I was sweating bullets. :-) Their butter chicken was thick and full of flavor, the saag was just the right consistency, and forgot the names of the other dishes, I wasn’t disappointed with anything. Great service, great tasking fresh food, would love to come back and try their dinner menu as I bet it is 10x better.

$ 14 for Saturday lunch buffet(tax included) Friendly service! Fresh food… Busy on Saturdays so they kept refilling everything, which was awesome! About 10 different hot items ranging from dishes I’ve never tried with eggplant to lentils to the more commonly seen Chicken Tikka Masala and Saag. A variety of chutney sauces. 2 dessert items: the white rice pudding is delicious. Fresh fruit. Chickpea salad. Hot idli, rice, and naan to pair with everything else! What I loved: fresh naan– when it came out piping hot!!! Crispy and fluffy all at the same time! So perfect! Huge variety of dishes to try! What could be better: their chicken in chicken dishes dishes were pretty dry & lamb was difficult to chew. Overall– good if you’re craving Indian & hungry!
