One of the most important criteria in finding a doctor for your little one is the ability to handle the parents. Think about it, your baby is too young to develop a relationship with their doctor during the search process so it’s really up to the parents to act.
I was incredibly lucky to have Dr. Broberg randomly assigned to my daughter the day after her birth. He just happened to be on rounds, which was really a great sign, when you think about it. I had been previously stressing out about interviewing pediatric doctors to find that right one we could trust. After the first visit, I knew I would happily join his practice.
Lo and behold, Dr. Broberg’s calming bedside manner totally won me over. He talks to us in such a manner we feel comfortable and educated. None of this talking down to us for asking the most ridiculous questions.
Plus our daughter doesn’t freak out on him when he is prodding her. She senses his calmness too I’d like to think.
His bedside manner is perfect and I couldn’t imagine finding another doctor that is quite as soothing.
He is located at the ARC South 1^st office, which is slightly sketchy at times. Just suck it up and deal with it, he is totally worth it.
