Stay away from this place I order a part from them they said I will have it the next day. 3 weeks later they don’t know where the part is finally I get the part and the bill for the extra freight. And I’m about to install the part and is defective so I order another one from LKQ and they get it to me in one day. Now I’m trying to return the defective part and they are charging me for the freight. Don’t get me wrong I don’t mind paying for the extra freight or the part as long as is not defective. I use to go there all the time to get parts but now I’ll give all my business to LKQ

First off, you are there for a used part. You have to admit that you are going into it with no expectation that the part will last 60k miles. Thinking otherwise proves you are an idiot. Now if you need trim pieces for your car or something along those lines, then they are a good option.
I have used them multiple times and never had any issues.

Watch out, they quote one price over the phone and then try to jack it up when you get to the store.

Last year the transmission on my car died, and my uncle and I decided to replace it ourselves. Browning had the lowest-​mileage salvage trannie, so I purchased it from them. My uncle and I then spent two days putting the thing in – only to discover that the trannie was a dud. I had it verified by the professional mechanics at Eagle Transmission that it was defective internally.
At this point, my only choice unless I wanted to put in another day taking the thing back out was to junk the car to Browning themselves. They agreed to accept a return on the transmission (really, they had to) and said they would give me $ 100 for the brick the trannie was now enclosed in. I noted that they were supposed to have given me a working transmission, and that, among other things, along the way I installed new engine mount to replace the one that was defective on my car (and likely had caused the original transmission to go out in the first place). This was a $ 200 part from the dealer but could not be returned at that point. They agreed to give me an extra $ 25 for it.
Part of this was just bad luck, and it was a salvage yard, after all, so sometimes you get a bad part. But transmissions are about as major a part as you can sell from a salvage yard, and they should have tested it and known it wasn’t working. And they should have expressed some contrition and given me a better deal on junking the car to make up for it.
Anyway, that’s my experience, so patronize this yard at your own risk.
