Absolute incompetence. Ordered a simple real estate sign. It arrived via UPS damaged. One might think it was UPS’s fault, but BAS didn’t have the forsight to protect the pkg. FAIL one. Customer service experience was very good and I was promised a replacement sign to be printed next day and shipped next day air. Package arrived as promised, however, with the WRONG sign. FAIL two. Called Customer Service again had just an okay experience, but no worries, product is on the way. Package arrived as promised, however, this package ALSO HAD THE WRONG SIGN!!!
Customer Service experience not quite so good this last time. I told them I expected a correct sign for every time they have gotten the order wrong and the rep said, «I can’t just give you free stuff». HA — as if all this wasted time and effort was FREE. Not to mention now i have these metal signs and a ton of associated garbage that I have to take care of.
Absolute garbage. WHAT SEEMS LIKE A BARGAIN REALLY COSTS 2X AS MUCH IN WASTED TIME AND EFFORT AND A SHABBY PRODUCT TO BOOT.

We ordered some lawn signs to give to members of the church for Christmas Eve services. The members put them on their lawns so the community knows about our upcoming events. The signs came with the wrong times for the services. We called and talked to someone who was rather dismissive and not any help at all. We emailed numerous times and called a few times again leaving messages that were not returned. We have asked for a refund for the wrong order and have not had any response. We would have preferred receiving the signs corrected because they had been promised to our members. Unfortunately because of the lack of customer service the time ran out and we had to call each of them to let them know we would not have the signs. Very unfortunate chain of events and we will think twice about using this company again.

We just received our stand up banner from Build A Sign. When I put it up, the sign leaned way forward in the stand, almost falling over. I called Build A Sign and got Christine Mcmahon from the Customer Love Team. I told her about the problem and without hesitation she said they would send me a new banner. She was apologetic and extremely helpful. After hanging up the phone I looked at the stand again and quickly realized it was my mistake regarding how I had put the sign together and I had not pushed the pole in to the slot far enough. Once I corrected my mistake the sign stood up as it should. I called Christine back and told her of my error and thanked her for her great customer service. I would definitely recommend this company.

I ordered an item, and delivery was promised at a certain date. There was a delay with confirming the design, and the date was a day later, but still in time for my event. I then got an email confirming the second delivery date and that the item was shipping. Several days later I received an email voiding the UPS shipment and then an email telling me I would receive the item AFTER my event. I tried several times to contact them, unsuccessfully, at the email on the receipt I received. I called several times and though I got through once, the customer service rep was dismissive and could have cared less that I they did not fulfill their commitment. If I could give less than one star I would — they were super helpful when I ordered, then they just dropped the ball with no notification.

As a new Realtor, I ordered signs from Build A Sign. They are more reasonable than local companies and other online companies that I could locate, and their customer service is without peer! I highly recommend them!

As a Realtor, I’ve had the opportunity to order quite a few products from Build A Sign and I’m very happy with what I’ve received. I appreciate the quality of their products. I’ve ordered the 18×24 plastic signs, the 18×24 aluminum signs, the aluminum riders, the steel stakes, and the double rider frame.
Their prices are very reasonable as well.
The customer service is also excellent. I had a small issue with a previous order and they took care of if immediately. They’re great to work with.
They ship promptly and the products were received without damage.
For the owner: I’d really like the option to pick up the product to save on shipping costs as well as have my order sooner.

We ordered 6 retractable banners from Build A Sign and are very happy with the quality! They are printed on a nice vinyl material and everything printed just like it was supposed to. The stands are light and easy for any person to handle, simple to put up/​take down, and the carrying case is included.
HOWEVER: the stand is not sturdy enough to hold up in any kind of windy or outdoor situation, and they tend to tilt just slightly forward, so we’ll have to level them out with a magazine or something. Still, for the price and quality, I can’t imagine ordering anywhere else.

Ordered for the first time. 21 out of 30 aluminum signs came badly scratched. Problem quickly resolved by CS.

When anyone needs signs they should call you first.

I placed an order for a custom license plate on 11÷24÷14. It was a very basic license plate ($ 13.26). Today is 12÷16÷14 and I have yet to receive this order. I have called the customer service department and they advised that the order was lost via USPS and now I would have to wait at least 4 to 6 more business days so that they could reprint and ship my order via UPS. This is unacceptable as I will now have to wait one whole month for a custom item. I will update this if/​when I receive my item. By the way this WAS supposed to be a Christmas gift.

I received my order today 12÷16÷14, late at night. USPS error. Very nice product, just be aware that shipping may take a while.

I’m writing another review for Build-​A-​Sign because, even though the customer service rep I spoke to over the phone was terrible, offered no help, and wouldn’t acknowledge the horrible verbiage in the sign descriptions, I appreciate that Jeanette was quick to help and to answer my emails.
We ended up having to find a local company to fix our issue (and pay them for drilling holes in over 50+ signs). Jeanette was able to offer me a discount on a future order which will mostly likely even out to close to what we spent on rectifying the situation, considering our orders are large.
I was told that the development team would look into the FAQ and Pricing sections in order to improve the communication and misleading explanations on the site — I hope this is actually done — I would suggest that making sure there is a dropdown or checkbox option at the end of ordering like most other sign websites have. I was very happy with the quality of the signs themselves (with the exception of the original issue) — just very disappointed in the initial customer service and misleading website descriptions.

This company was great! Every customer service team member I spoke with over the phone was phenomenal, they followed up to make sure everything was just the way I needed. I really appreciate the attention to my project because we needed the banner right away, this would have been very difficult if the Build a sign wasn’t as fantastic as they were. I love the design options, templates, shapes, and color available on their website to create my own custom banner.

Would never use again. I ordered signs from the dept. that specializes in Real Estate signs. They made a glaring error by putting arrows that directed people in opposite directions on the different sides of the sign. Something that would have been caught easily if there was any type of proofing or quality control in place. They apologized. Because I needed the signs for an event 3 days away, I asked for and was promised overnight delivery of replacement signs. Today is the day of my event, and the signs haven’t even shipped yet. More apologies. If I had known they couldn’t do the quick turnaround, I would have ordered the signs from another vendor. Now, I am simply without signs. If you are in the sign business, you need to understand timelines. In my experience, this company does not.
Update: Replacement signs arrived today. Amazingly, the replacements have the identical glaring error, pointing people in opposite directions on each side of the sign. This after I had sent them a photo of the first batch and them apologizing for the big mistake. No quality control here.

Excellent online signage company that delivered what I needed. After searching for companies in the local NYC area I came up blank or the prices were not too reasonable. So I searched on google and up came
They have such a great variety to choose from, the ordering and designing process is so simple. I ordered corrugated plastic which was waterproof and reusable. Uploaded my design and choose font and font color plus background color. I ordered signs for multiple locations and they have held up well in the rain.
The only down side was the turn around for delivery after ordering. It took like 2 to 3 weeks after my order was placed but I was not in a hurry so this was not a bad thing.
Would really use them again and have totally recommended them to friends!

Buildasign did a few vehicle wraps for my company years ago and did a great job. They have since downsized that department and were unable to do a new vehicle for us. They were extremely helpful in locating the old archived print files and getting them to me. Because of this great experience I will start pushing some of my other print projects their way. After this recent visit to their website I learned about the philanthropic work they do in the local community. It is very satisfying to know that some of the money I spend with your company goes back to helping people. Thanks again to the art department and ‘customer love’!

I recently ordered 2 aluminum yard signs and 2 posts and paid extra for rush delivery. I have since received the signs and I am pleased with the product. What is disappointing is that I still haven’t received my posts. For whatever reason, the sign that needed to be produced arrived 3-​days before the posts, which should have had no delay with being shipped. I wasted my money requesting rush delivery and am not happy with having my signs, but not being able to display them. It’s unlikely I would use
again given poor shipping practices, and paying extra for rush delivery was a waste of money.

Both times Easy Canvas Prints did a nice job, shipped the items quickly, and their customer service is excellent. I got a Pop Art program, used it on my photos, had them put them on large canvases at Easy Canvas. The last one cost me a little over $ 100 total, for a 30″ by 40″. Some of the online pop art websites wanted $ 500 for the same size!
If you want cool pop art photos, get the software program Pop Art Studio 6.5. It’s $ 65. Create your own pop art. Then get your print enlarged at Easy Canvas Prints when they are having a special. They have these often, just keep checking.

I ordered two items totaling nearly $ 160. They were to be shipped to my business. Shortly before they were to arrive, I received a pair of shipping notices from UPS — one saying it would come Friday, the next saying it had been rescheduled for Thursday. By Thursday afternoon, no package. I checked with UPS and they had delivered it —- to a residence 200 miles away. BuildASign’s shipping department must have got it wrong… and their customer service closes at 7PM my time, so no answers from them…
Pretty sloppy work. I will update this if they correct the problem pretty damn quick —
UPDATE: They replaced the mis-​routed sign very quickly. The 7PM Customer Service closing time and the fact that they continue to use UPS, whose service is very spotty keeps me from upgrading this review to a 4.

I ordered a dive flag for our boat through
it could not have been any easier! I love the fact that they have so many choices. I actually had fun with their design page. They offer tons of clip art to choose from and it is easy to download your own design.
They are very helpful in helping you decide what product works best for what you need it for. After submitting a design they will help work out the details to make it perfect!
They won’t just send you something that looks horrible, they take the time to work with you in making the design crystal clear and suitable.
The quality of the flag is great! I worried about durability since this flag would be exposed to the outdoor elements. After talking to my rep. Chris Boulware and getting all the details about material, stitching, grommet quality and design placement I ordered the flag and it arrived in 3 days!
The flag material is extremely strong and thicker than I had expected! Yet supple enough to «fly» the flag in normal wind conditions. It doesn’t need a hurricane to lift the flag outright. Nor will it fall apart after the first high wind day.
Double stitched and sturdy grommets make this the best dive flag our boat has seen in years!

What a croc! They lure you in with offers of a free banner for military families, and you spend the time and energy to design your banner, and then when you go to check out they try to charge you $ 33 for shipping if you need it within the next 2 weeks! Shame on you for operating under the guise of doing something nice for the military families out there when you are just trying to fool them by shifting all your costs to shipping.
