This place is convenient and was reasonable. The only reason I go is to have my eyebrows done bye Bea. She’s amazing at her work and very professional. The downside is: Tammy(The owner) she’s constantly making racial jokes at Mexicans, Blacks, fat or Skinny mixed racial kids and being belligerent and flat out rude! If this is a way to make her feel good since she wasn’t never excepted in Barnum and Bailey Circus… then clown on people that can’t afford to see the real show. Her clowning is not ever going to keep staff nor customers to stay or come back for service! Us AMERICANS can keep our composure and not stoop to her level. Although their are some that give it right back and constantly show their true self. So, if you want a FREE show go to C Nails!

Not the prettiest salon around, but my eyebrows always look great. It’s a bit hood, but I don’t mind it for the price. I come to get waxes during my lunchbreak and I’m always in and out quickly. Haven’t had my nails done here but I’m thinking about it.

Called and got a price for a gel manicure, was told $ 17. When I got there the price increased to 23. Manicures I have gotten in the past(not here) have consisted of removing old polish, pushing back cuticle, hand massage, nail trim. At C Nails, the manicure consisted of removing old polish, cutting cuticle, filing nails. They did not clean under my nails, no hand massage. She cut my finger so deeply on my right hand that it is still hurts today, a full week later almost. Rude staff. Location awful, limited parking at best. I WILLNEVERGOBACKTOTHISSHOP. I went Sunday because it was the only one opened on Sunday in the area. Summary of reasons I won’t return: Location Poorly done manicure Price change Cleanliness Rude Staff Injury to my cuticle *in no particular order

The owner does the best eyebrows in Austin; however, her attitude is what made me stop going to the shop. That says a lot! First of all, 99.9% of the time when I wanted her to do my eyebrows she told me no and to let one of the other girls do it. I would always say«No, I want you to do them.» It was always a constant battle with her. She was always rude! One time she told me I was pretty. The next time she told me I ugly. One day she said, «See aren’t you glad I done your eyebrows. Now you pretty. Before you ugly.» LOL I can laugh at it now, but when she made that comment, I was totally in shock and extremely pissed. I couldn’t believe she had such customer service skills and was so disrespectful. I often wondered how her shop was still in business. Her shop deserves 0 stars; however, that’s not an option. She received 2 because she really does a great job doing eyebrows. Every time I went to her shop, I left feeling insulted. I was always saying to myself, «Did she really say that?» and«Why do you still go to her?» The final straw: I asked her to do my eyebrows. The battle began, «No, let the other girl do it.» Me: «No, I want you to do them.» Blah, blah, blah. Finally she says, «Well you’ll have to wait until I finish her eyelashes.» I said, «That’s fine.» She finished the ladies eyelashes and sat down. I looked at her with a look of confusion. She looked at me and pointed to a lady who was currently receiving a pedicure and said, «She’s next.» I replied, «She’s getting her toes done, can’t you do my eyebrows in the meantime.» She said, «No, I’ll have to ask her»(Referring the the client). She asked the client was it ok and the lady said yes. The owner tells me to go to the eyebrow seat. As I’m walking to the back, I hear the owner say, «You need to tell her thank you. Um, ma’am you heard me, you need to tell her thank you.» I didn’t know who she was talking to, but I stopped and looked back and she has her hand on her hip while pointing to the lady in the pedicure chair. «Tell her thank you,» she said. I said, «Tell who thank you and why.» I was confused. She said, «Her for letting you go before her.» My frustration and anger for this woman grew. I calmly turned my head without saying anything and went to the chair. As I walked to the seat, the owner said, «Oh don’t worry about her she’s just ghetto.» Now I’m livid! Like really, WTH? Who acts like this? I maintained my composure because I really needed my eyebrows done! I didn’t say a word. I was pissed! After that occurrence, I’ve never gone back. I’ve been strong! Obviously, the owner doesn’t know how to interact with people in a professional manner. She’s rude and full of insults. She’s extremely ghetto and I will never give her my business again regardless of her talent(s).

my nails look amazing!!! the shop owner tammy is way to ghetto and comfortable for my liking. also there is a painting up of black women in a salon getting pedicures and black buff men performing the service. Its offensive due to its not a black salon and the clientele is mixed racially. If u can deal with all that then its totally worth it. I keep going cause they beat vogue by far.

Eyelash extentions was a nightmare! Never again!!! It took me three days to get them off and then on top of that, they broke off all my lashes.(after having them on for the recommended two weeks). The girl that put them on told me how to take them off. Obviously they do not know what they are doing at the clients expense.

The truth is «LOCATIONISEVERYTHING»! This nail shop is probably one of the best full service nails salons in Austin(nails, feet, waxing and lashes) But on the other hand the owners ghetto mentality over shadows the staff’s skills. The services! She’s disrespectful and thinks she ‘s one of the gang. Asking about«Yo baby daddy» and«why yo man ain’t paying for you to get your nails done». So if you don’t mind being insulted and listening to ghetto slang mentality this is the shop for you!
